NP beat Faribault 10-1, it was 10-1 after the second, NP coach said they had to stop scoring.

Looks like all the controversy with how good the Elks are can continue: Elks 4 Blaine 1

Can anyone provide any insight into the ER-Blaine game. Is the score indicative of the way the game went. I've seen Blaine play and any team that beats them 4-1 has to be good.

Play was even when 5 on 5, but Blaine spent a lot of the game shorthanded. ER moves and controls the puck very well.
Edina bb1 White

Edina white is very well balanced, it seems to me there is no all-star forward or defense but there is some very skilled players, #21, #9 and #17 stood out the most in my mind out on the ice during the duluth tournament. Any thoughts?

Sorry, but I must correct you . . .
Red vs White is at 2:30p followed by EP Bantam A vs AV, then
it's Black vs Green at 5:45p . . . not right after.
Big day of hockey at the EPCC.

Edina White Lost to EP Red 3-2. Edina only had 10 skaters for this one so it will be fun to see them when they are back at full strength.

Edina was beeting Eden Prairie 2-1, but the eagles came back with two nice goal to win the game. I thought it was a even match and it would be a good game next time they play each other.

Black beat Green 2-1

Watch out now for Black. Two big wins in a row. You know EagleGuy has got them ready for a huge playoff push. Sometimes the teams that go through tough spells together are the ones that are the most dangerous in Feb. (See Chaska 05-06).
Alright here we go with holiday tournament speculation.
Edina Invitational
Pool A
Edina Green
Centennial
White Bear Lake Black
Grand Rapids
Gotta go with Centennial here. They recently beat Green in a scrimmage and I think we all knew they were due to start playing better this may be the pivotal weekend. GR has not played anyone so the wake up call maybe violent.
Pool B
Edina White
Stillwater
Duluth East
Blake
I believe goaltending will be the difference here. White has it, Blake does not. White may be healthier than a brutal last week. I say Edina White walks out with the win here. Stillwater is in a down year and East is not usual power house from the north.
Pool C
Eden Prairie Red
Wayzata Blue
Eagan
Rochester Red
EP Red and Wayzata Blue play on Thurs. afternoon, this may be the best game of the pool play if not the tournament. Blue is playing well right now. They've only allowed three goals once in the last 8 games and have had four shutouts. (not against great teams but confidence is there) EP Red is my #1 team in the state. I believe Blue will win the pool and Red will get the wildcard. The Blue-Red game will be very good 1 goal game for sure.
Semifinals
#1 Edina White
WC EP Red
EP Red decisively
#2 Wayzata Blue
#3 Centennial Red
Blue decisively
Red gets revenge on Blue in the championship.
White takes home 3rd.
I'm working on the Midwest Regional hold on.

Please explain your unbiased Blaine pick as #1? Recently they've lost to both ER and Centiennal.

Blaine Dominated Eden Prairie, outshooting them 3-1, Eden Prairie is a good hockey team as well as both Edinas, Both WBL's, Elk River and Centenial, and there are others, although at this age anything can happen.

Midwest Regional Tourney Scores:
Blaine 2
Wayzata Gold 0
Thought Blaine carried most of the play when I was paying attention.
Chaska 2
E.P Black 0
Fun game to watch that either team could have won. The rematches should be equally as fun to watch. Black is a well coached team.
