That sounds like a Japanese ball player the Twins should sign.

Bottom of the 10th is taking too long, they'll need a DP in order to swing again.

That's a terrible at bat. He should've fouled off 8 pitches, then dribbled a grounder to 2nd.

Number one, with out a doubt, best thing we can take away from this series is to be thankful that the Rangers aren't our home team :!:

Holy Cow is that a bad team, no pitching and no defense does not a good team make

Hitting the Boofing ball.

Neshek's fastball 86-89mph, something isn't right with the slinger.

Meh, don't trust the "radar" numbers posted on the tube...

Side note, meet Mr. Korecki- the next Twinks closer. Also an inspiration to Liriano as a Tommy John survivor himself i hear

He really doesnt have much stuff right now. I see he is working on a change up.

Well, make sure those starters arent throwing more than 100 pitches and get that bullpen a lot of work. We still have a few of them to burn out.

That's what i like about Blyleven. He's not afraid to let his opinion be known. Added to that was Nolan Ryan during the Rangers series and who knows, maybe we'll start to see some change in regards to the almighty pitch count...one can always hope.

Nice article in the Red Star today on how they screwed up Mauer.

Good thing they gave up on it. Mauer isnt a power hitter.

Whether he will become one or not remains to be seen.

One thing for sure is that you cant make him one.

Its stupid to whine about him not hitting HRs.

Put a team on the field so you have a BO that doesnt require guys who dont hit HRs to try and start hitting them.

Dont screw up the guys you have because you cant draft or sign anybody who can HIT THE BOOFIN BALL and you let go the ones that do.

Nobody whined about Carew not hittng HRs when he played with Killebrew, Oliva etc.

Carew wasn't a 6'6" catcher. He played a position not normaly noted for the long ball. Mauer is starting to resemble a bowing pin with his build. A guy that size with such a superior swing should be able to account for 20 a year. :(

That limps.

Carew was big enough to hit HRs. He was 6 foot 180. Hank Aaron was 6 foot 180.

Killebrew was 5'11".
