Alright Solid first line, True its solid.
Jaeger a STUD, come on now, the kids a average goalie in the state of minnesota. Hes played some very good games and some poor games. He did play really well against the Elks last game with 33 saves in a 3-2 loss. But STUD a STUD doesnt have a 3.0 GAA and a .891 save % thats not a Stud goalie. And doent give me he faces 30 shots a game bs save % dont lie.
He gave up 8 goals to Coon Rapids!!! Their defense is not very good but there is no reason a good goalie (I'm not even going to use the word stud when talking about him) should be giving up 8 goals to CR. Give me a break. He can have some good games, but all goalies do. He makes some athletic saves but is always flopping around and just isn't very solid.

This Brandon Jaeger kind of sounds like a jerk. If he's such a great player why wouldn't he open enroll at Elk River? It doesn't make sense, and I don't buy what you're trying to sell us, Mr. mnhock20.

Stud, maybe not, but underated...defientlly people come into games thinking they got the game in the bag, until they run into him. However, he is a stud in the fact that this is his first year of varsity hockey.

With 3 GAA & a save pct. under 90, I think he should be considered average at best...

AHE 9
CP 3
Jaegar gave up 9 goals on 36 shots. "Stud" discussion can officially end hear. I believe whoever started that conversation should be permanently banned. Just a thought

. On another note the Elks are really starting to look good. Who would have thought they would peak at the right time

I think the penalties should also be discussed. There was next to zero 5 on 5 tonight. Champlin Park played very undisciplined, Elk River took a lot of penalties as well. It seemed like the Elks were on the PP twice as often though. Also, what was the deal with the Champlin Park fan section? About 8 minutes left in the third it looked as if about 30 kids got kicked out, or possibly chose to leave after one or two kids got kicked out. It looked as if police, the C.P. coach and the referees each took turns having a talk with the kids...
That goalie you guys were talking about could possibly be classified as average at best. No wonder why he doesn't enroll at Elk River I doubt he'd make the team.

I know, I know, who predicts 6 goals on 32 shots... I shoulda KNOWN he was gonna give up 9, what was I thinking!
Rogers, Mcelhone, Brodhag, Martell, Yeado, Brandt, Slavik, Anderson, and Pullar are scored one for the Elks.
Meyers had 2 of CP goals.
The team wasn't out to get Brodhag as bad tonight, but the fans from both teams were going at it. Champlin got a penalty because of their fans, anyone know what happened

I play for
Champlin, played I guess you could say. And got hurt before the season was even half way done, just had back surgery this week though. So should be back next year.
Does that even count? Is Champlin a "real" team?

C.P. Rebel fans spit on the ref. tonight, causing the bench minor. Real class? Funny how the Rebel coaches yelled at the ref. all night and Sars didn't say a word.

Yeah, the CP coach had a "conference" with the refs for about 5 minutes on the ice before intermission while the rink crew waited to zam.
I can't believe a kid would do that, its one this to hassle a ref, but to spit on him? Then the coach yells at the refs, then the coach proceeds to go on the ice and yell at the kids, who just ended up leaving.

why didn't he just spit on Jaegar?

That sounds about right, because from the E.R. side I didn't see kids throwing stuff on the ice or anything to that effect. That's the 2nd time I've ever seen a penalty called on the fans. Ironically, the other was against the Elks in their 8-1 state championship victory over Moorhead in '01 for delay of game.
As far as the kid spitting, what a idiot. I'm down with razzing and verbally assaulting anyone and everyone involved in the game, but in today's day in age where everyone is a PLEASE BAN ME, spitting on people is grounds for assault charges. He should have at least thrown something instead, and not at the ref or anyone. And if my eyes saw what I think they saw, after the 2nd period a Champlin park kid threw a chuck a puck at Tony Siebert as he skated off the ice, just narrowly missing him.
