But still Eagan may have a rivalry with EV but with the EV kids they get up for a game vs. Apple Valley anyday! Like Newsguy said the schools are only 1.3 miles apart..its pretty much a battle for Apple Valley. But with Apple Valley being a bit down this year i dont think it would be such as big a game as years past but the hostility is always there with the fans(ask denicola's mom) but as your remarks towards eagan..that was summer my friend..this is November not July! And we all know that you cant tell squat from summer hockey, i bet that most of the teams dont even have their full rosters even playing in summer hockey..just another side note to consider..Dont get me wrong im NOT bashing eagan as i just moved out of Eagan into st. paul and have seen a lot of wildcats games as well as the rest of the Lake but i just dont see them being up to Par this year returning one decent player in Olsen(46pts last year) but he doesnt have Lipinski and Dockendorf to work with, and as well as Anderson returning between the pipes. Other than that i just dont see Eagan making much noise in the Lake..could be a disappointing year, but MAYBE just MAYBE not!! Thats what makes the Lake confrence the best!
NOT
Why don't we try to stick to the subject of the thread... FSN Schedule, remember!!!

Hope they do an intra-Rochester game again. They did JM-Century in 05-06, Century won in OT- they had the FSN guys up by the rafters at the Rec. Very lively game too- probably one of the best attended games ever.

It should be an annual. So. Minn. hockey doesn't get near enough exposure.

Agreed... that's a lesson most of us who live north of Red Wing learned during the Tourney last year.

What happened during the tourny frankly was disrespect. Anybody who followed bantam A's for the prior few years should have known better. They were a heck of a team.

they probally wont have any more inner rochester games due to the fact that is isnt "fair" to the girls and how none of the girls teams dont get recognized... true fact

Well, it wasn't during the tourney so much as it was the whole season leading up to the tourney. :P

Well the schedule is definitely out there some where. I'm watching the Wild game right now and during the 2nd period intermission they said there will be 17 total games on FSN this year and they showed 6 of them. I was too flustered to memorize the six they showed but nothing really stuck out in my mind. Of course they had Roseau vs. Warroad on there. I believe another was Cloquet vs. Buffalo as well.

How incredibly lame and stupid (not having HM vs. WBL).
It is said to be one of the top high school rivalries in the country.

That's IT...I'M BOYCOTTING FSN HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY COVERAGE!

wow...glad to hear Buffalo is getting another game! Last year's Duluth East game sure was fun and a great hockey game as well...I think FSN is looking for that type of atmosphere for all their games...good to hear beacuse I think Buffalo definately deserves it...just wish it was the Rogers game...LOL

im guessing the wild or gophers have games that night and they arent going to bump them for HS hockey

its a saturday night, go to the game.

Yeah, I'm going to guess they had prior obligations on the night of the HM vs WBL game. They pointed out that they tried to make that work but were unable too.

Perhaps FSN doesn't want to commit to all the games yet?
It would give them some flexibility to pick games later in the year that could become interesting....of course this is just a thought if they only showed 6 so far.

I would love to see another Rochester game.....Century vs. Mayo at the REC would be a good one - only because I think JM will be way down this year.

that would be stupid to boycott FSN. They are the only ones that will pick up these games.

Anyone have ESPN's number?

I for one hope they dont get to political (especially if Mitch and Lee find out).

I would be happy if they selected games that will have as broad of an appeall as possible rather than trying to please certain factions like the Southern Minnesota group.

The broader the appeal , the better the ratings, the better the ratings, the longer it will continue.

I am not with you. Why boycott a station that is the only one supporting HS hockey by broadcasting games? Just because you don't get to see one game?

The reason the game isn't on TV is because the Wild play Detroit at home on FSN the same night WBL plays Hill Murray.

I vote FSN has Hill/WBL live, Detroit/Wild on tape delay afterwards.

 Hill vs WBL is not that big of a deal outside of Hill and WBL.
