It's good to see that read and do math. Here is a pop quiz and for you guys, this is an open book test (usa hockey 2007/08 guide book) and it's ok if you use your calculator:
1) With a 20 man roster, what is the max. number of players that can be from Minnesota and not be register through Minnesota?
Lets just stick to the post subject "bantam A" scores.
Sorry your interpretation is wrong (among other things).
Allowable players per roster is 20.
Raito of players is from numbers from one affiliate to total number of registered players on the roster (not a fixed number such as 20 - good to see that ...and do math).
My repsonse was to an earlier poster that made a misstatement.
I am not trying to bring the Fire down.

D16 will not start bantam A (or other level) games until November 17th.
Some will have some scrimmages or invitational tourneys prior to that, but no D16 league games until that date.

Jancze5:
Shattuck Tier 1 team: Very good - all 93's. Can beat all but the very few best MN Bantmam A teams. EP, Wayzata, DE, Edina can, and do beat them.
Shattuck Bantam A team: a mix of 93's and 94's. Not good enough to beat any of the top 25 MN Bantam A teams.
Shattuck Prep team begins to attract top players from all over.

Really like the new "Minnesota Challenge Cup" trade games.... Gives more opportunity for great teams like EP, Edina, White Bear, Wayzata, SSM, etc. to face each other. Kind of like a season long "Battle Royale".

Based on some of the above posted scores, it looks like EP is going to be one super tough team. It will be fun to see them in action over Thanksgiving at their tourney.

2 years ago this EP PWA team was head and shoulders the best PWA team in the state. I think they only lost 2-3 games all year. I see the same thing brewing this season for them as a Bantam A team.

2nd game (Sunday) Tier 1 Shattuck 6 vs. Wayzata 2
SSM and Wayzata split this weekend.
Jancze, if SSM can beat Wayzata, they can compete
with any Bantam A team in MN. Wayzata is very strong.
Wayzata has approx 8 - 92s on their squad. SSM beat Edina 2-1

Come on when is enough..enough? Is Bill Belichick coaching the squad? D6 makes all associations have an A team but this makes no sense to me.
