Compared to??Bo Dangles wrote:crusaders did not play very well today.
Schmidt did not do much.
Sweet, dude!George Blanda wrote:
FYI, this poll was created by a Tech player.
He didn't have any points but there were times he took it the length of the ice and stick handled through two or three players before putting a shot on net. I was pretty impressed.Bo Dangles wrote:crusaders did not play very well today.

Ugly as far as Apollo is concerned. They have looked very weak as of late and Sauk Rapids has looked very strong. I hope I end up eating my words.Ben Dover wrote:Whats the Apollo game going to look like tonight boys?
Schmidt, from what I saw, has great skills but becomes frustrated too easily. When Rogers began to take the body in the second period he became irritated with them and looked more to hit someone to hurt than to make the right play. Overall I was not impressed with the Crusaders, had some good player but I hope this was not a good game for them.Goldy Gopher wrote:He didn't have any points but there were times he took it the length of the ice and stick handled through two or three players before putting a shot on net. Alot of us agree with that I think. We'll have to see how Tech & SCC do tomorrow, both of them played pretty weak today.buffalobob wrote:Schmidt, from what I saw, has great skills but becomes frustrated too easily. Thought the "Flying" Eagles played rope-a-dope most of the third period and snuck away with a win with at least 2 very soft goals. Thought they also were outworked most of this one just got the bounces when it counted. Hampton got help from the goalies best friend in this one twice got to give him credit...here's a tip...he has a huge five hole. Key to this game was The Storms inability to set up on the PP during the major tried to force things also thought they probably should have went to a low corner and isolated a D instead of working the points on the PP as Apollo played a high box and didn't give Sauk's D much space. And yes the glass was fix pretty quickly under 10 minutes.George Blanda wrote:Apollo 5

The FLYING Apollo Eagles got production from all of their lines, not just the top guns. Hampton played a good game in his return.
Gotta love the work done by Goldy Gopher in the first couple games as the official scorer. But what really impressed me was how fast the MAC staff replaced the glass when it shattered.
