Can't Never Tried- here's a picture of how the kid landed on his leg.

edit-here's a picture right before the hit. clearly the kids head is at the level of mcmanus' arms, making it seem like a high hit.

So looking at that it would look like it was his right leg was the injured one, coming down on the skate underneath.
To bad for the young man and I hope he's doing well!
He's been recovering quite well, In fact I think he started skating again this week.

Jefferson 5 / Rosemount 2

Jefferson goaltending is too tough.
Rosemount will find it hard to stay out of the box.

Great matchup.

Cant Never Tried - It was his left leg that broke. The knee to knee contact snapped his femur.

he started skating again this week? if this is true then WOW! I broke my femur playing rugby and I was physically messed up for a year, Herbert you animal. He is probably Jefferson's second best forward, if he could return for sections then the Jags are ultra dangerous

That's my hometown, I gotta support 'em...they get alot of torture on here for beating everybody on their schedule...We'll see what they're made of come playoff time...

As far as the Jags-Irish game goes, I don't even have to stress how big of a game this. The Jags need to get rejuvenated after a tough loss to Burnsville..I'm hoping they're up for the task in a tough environment..

Jags-3
Irish-2

O'Donnell with the game-winner...

It would actually be quite funny if the winning goal happens to be one that is kicked in on their own net by accident.

Brown had 2 goals, the first one was a snipe,Mcmanus had 1 and I don't know who scored the other goal for Rosemount.Jefferson's goal came from LaBombard.Tommy Odonnel didn't have a good game, Rosemount shut him down and when Odonnel doesn't score it's tough for the jags to win.

Rosemount took it to Jefferson. Jefferson took dumb penalties and Rosemount played a very clean game.

rosemount dominated the game right after the 1st intermission O'donell doesnt even compare to JT and Morgan had another very solid game!

That might be going a little too far. Tommy is very talented.

So is it safe to say that since Brown did not score against Burnsville that he doesnt compare to Tyler Barnes. . . . Your comment isnt really valid.

Jefferson for sure took it to Rosemount in the 1st, but the only good thing Rosemount came out with in that period was more shots to the net and only trailing 1-0. After that the Irish came out on fire and got 4 unanswered goals. The 1st by Brown Shorthanded, 2nd by Percy, 3rd by Porter, and 4th by Brown.

Brown Percy Porter looked fantastic tonight as well as Morgan and Mcmanus. They were the key factors in this game other than Rosemount taking less penalties than the Jags. The Irish are looking mighty fine right now and are coming together well.

It's tough to rely on 5 guys come sections. They are going to get tired and worn out, they need some more depth to show.

Rosemount's 2nd line (Markiewicz, Dale, Anderson) was matched up against the O' Donnell line quite a bit tonight. They held their own against Jefferson's top line. No, they didn't score, but they didn't give a goal up either. I would also like to add, I believe that Carlson is a better defenseman than McManus.

I would like to add that Hawkins had probably the most hits in one game I have seen by a kid (excluding last years state tourney). I can recall one shift he had i believe 5 big hits (as in the jefferson player flew into the boards or got knocked down). lol, surprisingly they were all clean.

That really doesn't matter much, but it was a pretty good tempo setter for getting things going in my opinion.

Another addition..... the officiating crew was a high end crew doing the game tonight. according to my inside source they are some of the best. I dont recall one bad or missed call on either side.
