I don't think either team is overrated, this will really be a great battle.

It's great that FSNorth picked up this game. I'm really looking forward to watching it.

Which team do people think has the better goalie? Being so evenly matched, this might be the difference maker.

Is everyone prepared for the pissing and moaning that will take over "the bored" Friday morning if Edina does lose? I'm not sure, but I believe time will stop and the world will be ending, or so we'll hear...

Edina has a clear edge in the goaltending department.

You sure about that, Goldy?

I've seen EHS play 4 times this year and MHS with Buonomo play 3 times.

What's next, your dad is bigger than mine?

Good, then you know first hand that Caschetta is much better than Buonomo.

Actually I know first hand that you need to put away the peace pipe and also that nothing I saw indicates Caschetta is better to any degree.

Any actual news beside all the chest pounding?

Is everybody healthy for both teams? Any news who will start in net for Tonka? Tonka may start Kruger perhaps??

I understand the poll represents the true love metro hockey fans have for the Hornet faithful. Minnetonka and Edina have both been playing well of late, but Edina did take care of Hopkins unlike Minnetonka and my prediciton is the Hornets will simply wear down the skippers by the end of the second period. Too many big green bodies who can also skate.

The first period should be some of the fastest, hardest hitting games of the year. The curse will continue for the skippers...

Hornets 5-2 over the Skippers. :D

I hope your boy doesn't even start.

Just kidding.

I hope he does and Edina absolutely lights him up.

I like Minnetonka 4-3 in this nail-biter. It will most likely come down to the wire, maybe even into OT. Expect Everson to have 2 and Budish with 1 for Edina, making their 3 goals. But Tonka will be able to pull out the victory under pressure tomorrow night. They are just too hot to handle right now. I know I'll be there rooting for the Skippers.

edina wins 34-33

#1 vs. #2

Wow, what a matchup tonight on FSN.

I think both teams should wear an '80's version of jerseys to harken back to the days of the Coach Ikola teams vs. Coach Erickson teams that battled for the Section 6 title at the Met Center year in and year out.

I bet this game has better ratings than the Timberpuppies!

My prediction, sorry Tonka fans:

Edina - 4
Skips - 1
