Okay, I have all the info...
here are the seeds.
IF Bem beats TRF, EGF beats TRF and PR does not lose...
Warroad, EGF, PR, Bemidji, TRF, Hallock
If TRF beats Bemidji
Warroad, EGF, PR, TRF, Bemidji, Hallock
IF TRF wins both
Warroad, PR, TRF, EGF, Bemidji, Hallock
If EGF loses to TRF
Warroad, PR, Bemidji, TRF, EGF, Hallock
If PR loses any game except Mora, & EGF & Bemidji win
Warroad, EGF, Bemidji, PR, TRF, Hallock
(Mora game will probably be played after the seeding meeting.)
If PR loses and EGF loses and TRF beats Bemidji
Warroad, PR, EGF, TRF, Bemidji and Hallock
IF TRF wins both games and PR loses
Warroad, PR, TRF, EGF, Bemidji, Hallock
Hallock will slip ahead of Bemidji, if Bemidji does not win (except Greenway as that will probably be after the seeding meeting).
There, its all clear now.

I was talking to someone very close to all the coaches and it sounds like PR will have the #2 seed wrapped up as long as they win out except for Mora. I was told that there are enough coaches that will vote in PR's favor for #2

They only have 4 games against teams in the top 100 and only one game against a team in the top 50 of those 4.
They beat the bad teams bad as they should 4 times, 3 games were not blow-outs.
A 5 - 1 win over #151.
5-2 & 3-1 over #137.
They still have a couple more games with these teams.
The schedule will be taken into account.
If Park Rapids fans think they can rely on a good record on a weak schedule for a high cede, I certainly hope the players and coaches are not.
You also have to remember that a win is a win. Just because PR did not blow other teams out of the water doesn't mean anything. They may have played more younger kids during the game. Also some teams pay up or down to the level of team they are playing. a 5-3 win is just as good as a 10-3 win.
Sorry, no, all information is available and used by the coaches.

And some of us talk to coaches.
None of the coaches I know have made any decision on seeding. Perhaps, Warroad as #1 is close to a lock and Bagley and Walker at the bottom, but they meet on the 13th, I believe, and they will be swayed by the game results of the 12th.

I think PR has to win out to get the #2 seed. If they lose to CRX then I believe there two losses in the section to sub-par opponents will be enough to sway the other coaches to vote PR 3 or 4. They definitely have a top 4 seed locked up. I think the seeding will go like this.
-1- Warroad
-2- EGF
-3- PR
-4- TRF
-5- Bemidji
-6- Kittson
-7- LOW
-8- CRX
-9- RLF
-10- Bagley
-11- Walker Texas Ranger

why is egf always second in the seedings? Trf beat egf and they dont have nearly as tough a schedule as trf does either. The same with PR. I think it should be
1.warroad
2. TRF
3.PR
4.EGF

Maybe its just me but ....
2nd....
3rd..
4th...
Does it really matter? i think every one knows Warroad is going to walk out of this section untouched. weather you want to belive it or not, no-one will even get close, unless Hallock pulls off another upset. and the only teams that could even have a tiny chance would be EGF or TRF if there goalies would ever show up to play and if they could learn to but the puck away.

Dear tic,
You're missing the jist of high school hockey and why the state tournament is so great.
Everyone has a chance. But more so, everyone has fans that have hope.
The journey is the destination for most.
Have a dream, cross your fingers, and
YES, IT CAN HAPPEN!
Yours truly,

Well if everyone knows it why do they even play the games? PR did beat both EGF and TRF so to not include them as a team with a chance is foolish. I don't believe PR will make the section final but
YES:IT CAN HAPPEN I was foolish enough to not take them serious once...How does the saying go fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

ahh..yea you can .....look at there schedules! there only meaninful wins were where EGF and TRF just didnt show up to play..... yea i know what ur going to say "but they beat them and thats all that matters" yes but also look who EGF and TRF have beat.. teams that are 5 times better than pr........ as for my last post i dont think i really got across what i was trying to say... no team has even proven that they can compete with warroad, which is what i ment by it dont matter who gets 2, 3, or 4 or so on... because if bemidji egf or trf can prove something in the next couple weeks.... then maybe...im all for beliveing in the unbeliveable but for once im just trying to think realistic
( sorry for spelling )

Spelling is just a pet peeve for some of us (even though we will make a blunder now and then).
I think most of us know what you are saying.
Warroad is the favorite. The rest of us just have hope.
But I hope to see IFalls and Warroad at the X in the final game Saturday afternoon.

Bruce may not deserve it, but gosh darn, Albert is from Birchdale and that's darn near to Int'l Falls, which is like being in Mpls...
so he's got it coming.
And don't even get me started on Milo....

He just needs time to think of something clever, come up with a new name, find a server, and a permission slip from Lee.
