The MSHSL doesn't keep regular season records, what they have is a hodgepodge of things sent in by schools, not verifiable. There is no organization like the Minnesota State High School Baseball Coaches association that does this.

You can say Lee has the record but nobody can prove he does, the records aren't complete or thorough. For example the record for most goals 2 teams is 17, well it takes about 3 seconds to find Moorhead beat Monticello 27-0 in 2004 and my public school math says 27>17. Also the record for most stops in a game is 65 set by Karl Goering, but I know for a fact that Lakeville's BJ O'Brien had 70+ in a section final game. Also the most stops for a game (65) is less than the most stops for a regulation game (74).

Goldy it's a fact.... in this case Kupka had 9 last year, and I at was at everyone of them.

Not a tough schedule but that's besides the point...and when it comes to state records I'm pretty sure they verify them.

How do you know somebody in 1968 didn't have 12 shutouts? You don't, all you know is nobody in Rogers did. All I'm saying is the MSHSL records are incomplete and I gave 2 examples to show why having a record on their site shouldn't be set in stone.

Well I guess that's why they call em records, that's what's kept.
Why the debate?
It wasn't even brought up last year when it was accomplished some 11 years after the previous one???

Also it looks like the MSHSL goes back to at least 1945 for records they list on other things?
Can't imagine that a team with a record breaking member wouldn't report it.

I just gave you 2 examples, why is there no record for most goals scored in a season or assists? How did Spehar or Lecy rack up all those points if no one ever scored? Records aren't reported because nobody knows what they are. There is no comprehensive record book, at best any of these "records" are just guesses.

But if it means anything Congrats on a fine accomplishment.
To bad it has to be diminished with skepticism.... and that does not come from the team that just lost the previous one.
