I don't think AHA has the talent this year to defeat Edina. Edina has way too much offensive abililty to lose this game.

How about this, 9 out of 10 true high school hockey fans prefer Bud Light over wine and champagne
Now why did you need to bring up wine and champagne???? You cannot possibly be assuming that is the drink of choice in cake town.

We all like barley and hops more than grape juice.

You are really getting under the skin of the "Cake Nation". Cease and desist now or else. [-X [-X

If the upset happens I'll line up the Prosac for all the fragile egos west of Best Buy.

I'm on it, thanks for the heads up. That would have been a heartbreaker to get there and not get in.

I'm listening to the game on internet radio. I don't think Holy Angels has touched the puck yet in the 2nd period. Play has been extremely one-sided.

Edina was just too physically overpowering for the Stars tonight. Their game-plan was obviously to stop Mattson. I don't think he had a shift where he wasn't bumped or shadowed. The Budish/Everson/Lee line was beastly and while I didn't think it was a good idea to put all their scoring on one line, it seemed to work tonight. The Stars are an excellent team and Boerger was outstanding in spite of the loss. I don't think there was anything AHA could have done from a coaching standpoint to win this game, they were simply out-gunned.

I was at the game. It was what high school hockey was all about...the fans. Also #9 on Edina Anders Lee skates just like Malkin

Anyone have shots on this one? I'm wondering if they were one-sided. The radio feed made it sound like they were. Looked a lot of places but haven't seen anything yet.

And just as important to Edina's team. He was the best player on the ice tonight, as Giles double shifted him to anchor the third line as well, bringing stability to an area of concern. He is an absolute workhorse and unsung hero for Edina. I have never seen someone dominate in the corners like Lee in High School Hockey.

In the end it was the Hornets size, skill and speed that simply wore down the Angels. For Lee to have over thirty goals this year is amazing. Should be two great games Wednesday. Go Hornets! :D

Edina used their size in the corners and in front of the net. I think somewhere around the second AHA just decided to give the corners and slot to Edina. I remember looking over and saying to the guy with me, it's over now, just a matter of time.
