A couple of the grandpa's next to me even used their Depends they got so excited.

In all seriousness - I cant imagine the X will provide better matchups. We were treated to some quality action last night.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL 4 TEAMS TONIGHT ON A UNBELIVABLE NIGHT FOR HOCKEY! Also congrats to the officials on both nights for allowing the players decide it on the ice.

I was waiting and watching a long time for these sections to play through, and we all got what we expected! AWESOME!

Thinking of taking in Woodbury & Rosemount tomorrow .. just not sure if the ticker can handle another barn burner.

Agreed....but Zach May was offside by a mile for Burnsville's second goal, I wouldn't have cared if anyone else scored
I was waiting to read one of two posts about last nights officiating. I saw the same thing, I am surprised that there isn't more posted about that, unless of course it is in one of the many posts on the board...I saw it as off sides as well....

It was a great night of hockey. The only flaw I saw was the refs missed a ton of offsides, including the play where Tonka hit the post late 2nd period.
It looked like they've never worked on an olympic sheet and couldn't keep up. Besides that, GREAT games![/quote]

This is the other post I was waiting to see. I thought perhaps it was a goal but the way the puck came out I am confident that it hit the base of the pipe and came out. The ref on this one was in the perfect position to call it, don't forget there was a goal judge in place last night as well. The were plenty of close off sides, but they were close all night in both games, as well as for all four teams playing. The olympic sheet has nothing to do with calling the games. They are only wider not long, sorry ain't buying that one...
