Why is the White Bear crowd so dearly holding onto the blind squirrel theory?
How many times have you knocked off Hill-Murray in a section championship game?
Maybe one hat-trick of flukes in the last four decades!
Might as well be Never, because Phillippi never loses to you!
Now, this season you have only managed to score two goals per match-up
while the Pioneers tallied twelve (counting the one we spotted you for Christmas).
Once again you boast before a section championship game,
pretending to be so proud of your nonreligious school.
Yet at the Coliseum, we hear your murmurs toward heaven...
beginning as a steady mantra...
ending in a whimper...
just another public school with no prayer!

This is all really cute but White Bear put up three goals against the Pioneers during the Schwans Cup and the Pioneers have a series total of eleven. I also don't know who is "pretending" to be proud of our nonreligious school. The only people that pretend are the kids that will be dressed in black and green come friday night. They pretend to be real fans, when at their core they're the epitome of fair weathered.

White Bear fans love their team. Win or lose they will always be behind them. What would be demoralizing to White Bear would be having fans that only show up for sections and state. Just one of the many things that differ between these two schools.

As a WBL fan, I will be cheering for the Bears on Friday. I am not going to get my hopes to high though. If the Bears can pull off a win it will definitely be an upset. Maybe not a 1996 type of upset, but still an upset.

Just like the Bears to take credit for something they did not do.

I'll forgive you because you're a fan of Hill-Murray and probably weren't at that game seeing as it wasn't sections or anything like that. Indeed, the Bears did put up 3, but ended up losing 6-3. Their previous game ended with a score of 5-2. Check your figures, big guy.

You need to use terms Pistol will understand.
1st game White Bear said 2 Hail Mary's = 2 goals
2nd game White Bear said 2 Hail Mary's and 1 Our Father = 3 Goals
For Hill's sake I hope they don't get a hold of a Rosary for this game.

You can read a box-score, but if you were at the game and awake, you would know the Pioneers knocked one in their own net on a Hill pass from behind the net hitting Flip's back and in.

This is funny considering all of the section championship games of years pasts I have yet to see a WB fans stick around while there team is receiving second place medals. Im not talking about a preview of tomorrow just putting it out there cuz u wb fans say your always behind them. So im not saying that its in the bag for hill cuz its not, i think this year hill's defenseman are just not that strong and i think WBL will pull off the win and head to the dance, i dont want them to though.
Im not in high school any more but i think one reason not as many kids turn out to every game for hill is because when you play teams of the caliber of simley and sibley and this year nsp its not fun, but on wbl side they play roseville, cretin, woodbury(i think), there conference games are a lot more interesting as they are not blow outs, from my experience kids show up when they know its going to be a good game and not a 10-0 blowout

Yes...WHAT are you people talkin about...
White Bear loves there team...no matter how they do...
just because they havent beat hill in a long time....doesnt mean they dont have a chance...(if i recall didnt tartan beat hill this year?
and who beat tartan?...white bear? yup they did...so we have a chance!!!
but back to the fans...just cause we have lost to hill twice this year...and a double over time game last year....
does that mean we should not show up? really im curious?

Mr. Penalty the 2OT game was two years ago, last year it wasn't that great of a game. Hill did lose to Tartan, but that is not nearly as embarrassing as WBL loss to PARK who was brought up as someone MV could have a realistic rivalry against.
