Yumusaklar (not sure if i have enough vowels) is good. I hadnt seen him play until last night, and he really surprised me. He robbed us a few times. I expect tonight to be a close low scoring affair. Not sure who im picking though

Lakeville's goalie gave up three goals and was one of the stars of the game. If Hill had 31 shots on the goalies that were playing for Blaine it would've been more like 8 or 9 to nothing.
Sure it would have. Game I was watching last night 6 of the 8 goals I don't think it really would have mattered who was in net. Of course the reason why Hill snuck one out on Moorhead and didn't surgically dismantle them like Roseau was the team Hill played was so MUCH better. Just like their schedule, right?

i wont be eating anything... roseau wont need a top effort tonight to beat this club but will need to put it all on the line for saturday.

I hope you're right. HM is a solid club, even though.

I especially enjoyed the goal Roseau scored with blaine's goalie on the ground 10 feet away from the net. If it didn't matter who was in net for the game why did Blaine's coach feel the need to pull his goalie. Hill and Roseau both beat Moorhead. Sure Roseau won by more, but the game also meant something. We'll find out tonight who the better team is. Landman and Ness were involved in 7 of the 8 goals, so we'll see how Roseau will do against a team that has depth in scoring.

Dude you kneed to put the crack pipe down, step back from the keyboard and breath.

A) The goal you're referring to, Ness gave one guy is jock strap back after he walked around him, and put not just the goalie but two other people to the ice on his shiver, and then put it in the empty net. How is this a bad play?

B) Roseau drew one of the toughest opponents in the lottery (Woodbury was a tough draw as well). If HM didn't shine against Lakeview how is that Roseau or Blaine's fault? The idea HM somehow was cheated in drawing Lakeville while big mean Roseau dismantled an easy Blaine team is so laughable its sad.

HM has a solid team and I have nothing for respect for them, but you need a reality check.

Watchdog I'm not scared, I don't have to play Ness, I just think everyone already christening Roseau champions is premature. This won't be a St. Thomas vs. SCC game, it'll be close.

i agree rams by one maybe two. fillipi is good but hes the only chance they have to stay in this game tonight.

Blaine outshot Roseau last night, yes many of them were desperation, but it revealed that Roseau's defense isn't perfect. Roseau scored on their first two shots and never looked back. Phillipi should be able to keep Roseau out of the net early, and not be as out of position as Blaine's goalie was last night. The game will come down to which goalie has the better game, and Lee will have a lot of problems if he has to face another 34 shots.

Roseau 4 EN
Hill 2
Hill Murray will be a very tough test for the Rams.
This one will be close to the end.

i start to wonder all the time on this board if most of you people ever really watch a hockey game. i mean really watch and see the real parts of the game to figure out whats going on. you say things that have no meaning. i watched the game last night and i dont need anyone to give me the ins and outs. ive watched hill play several games and im telling you mark my words they have little chance to win this game. if fillipi can make many over the top saves hills only chance to win the game. baring that miracle ill be on here tomorrow running my mouth yet again

sorry neutron you must be talking about yourself. i try very hard to watch hockey games with objective point of view. i have predicted every game so far in this tourney and will do so until the end their wont be any surprises. the only one im having trouble with is the six oclock tonight. edina pulls it out and loses tomorrow i hope. i havent made my pick on that game yet ill decide after watching the games tonight.

Ok BEFORE any pucks were even droped people were saying whoever got Lakeville was going to have a walk. It wasnt just afew people, it was everyone outside of the lakeville fans. Hill wasnt impressive last night. You can say it was Lakes goalie you can say it was there D. But you must remember Roseau is better on D and in the nets. You think your going to beat them when you couldnt handle Lake all that well? Please stop think then type.....5 or 6 to 1 or 2 Roseau moves on the defend its title.

Warroad97,

We can always hope and as a Catholic school we can always pray.

Maybe, just maybe Hill was laying back last night to lull Roseau into a false sense of security! Or maybe they will show up tonight in their big black jerseys and will scare the white rams. In other words, I guess there is nothing left to say on the subject and now it is in the hands of 40 determined teenage boys!

My 3 wishes for tonight are 1)an exciting game 2) no injuries and 3) a Hill victory. Good luck Pioneers!

We can agree on acouple of your wishs. You say maybe they were laying back? lol no way, everyone when you get to this point works the hardest they can. But I agree a exciting game with no injuries would be great. However sorry but a Rams win is whats on the tap tonight.

lets be serious, I just dont see Hill winning this in any possible scenario.

Offense - advantage Rams
Defense - advantage Rams
Net - advantage Rams (dont bring up brimsek, lee is better)
Coaching - advantage Rams

South proved last night Hill's garbage season didnt prep them for this tourney.

Roseau 7-2
