Govs made his way down to Miesville yesterday to take in the Mudhens vs. the Dundas Dukes and of course stopped in at King's... you can change that "15 choices" to 43. They hand you a normal looking menu, except for one page... 43 lines, single spaced, all burgers.EREmpireStrikesBack wrote:

I opted for the proverbial "heart attack on a bun"... The "Batter Up Burger" which I believe is a 1/3 lb. topped with cheese, a hot dog, and a fried egg (the fried egg I actually didn't notice in the description, but like I say... singe spaced - it all ran together I guess). I'm happy to announce that no harm was done, and I managed to walk to my car without keeling over.
Unfortunately, it was a little windy, and the corn hasn't grown in yet behind the walls at Jack Ruhr Field, but it was an otherwise perfect day to take in a game - although I left the sunglasses in the car, and believe I may have sunburned my eyes. It was a real kick to see so many people turn up for a town ball game in their Mudhen hats and sweatshirts... it's pretty much what you'd picture small town baseball to be - damn near perfect (that 1 lane bridge in Hastings is a real issue, but that's aside from the fine folks of Miesville. Certainly nothing they can do about that.).
By the way - next time you (I) shell out $6 for your Dome Dog, keep in mind that the most expensive consession item in Miesville is a freshly grilled brat which is $3, and that includes the beer, which is $2.50 as opposed to $7-ish at the Dome.

I've heard some people will go great distances to save $3 bucks on concessions

I don't think they have a burger that's more than about $4.50, do they? If you up it to a 1/2 lb, I think that's quite a bit more, but with with all the stuff they throw on a 1/3 lb, I don't know why you would.
