Rumor has it that Julius Tamasy, Brainerds top player, will be moving to Duluth and playing for East?

That is correct, Sir.dori wrote:Rumor has it that Julius Tamasy, Brainerds top player, will be moving to Duluth and playing for East?
If he moves he's good to go no penalty! but yeah your still confused !karl(east) wrote:Because he's moving, does he not have to sit out half the season? Or am I just confused?
Anyone else with more info on him?
It would appear no penalty is involved because it's a physical move. I had no idea who this kid was until I did some Google work. Decent stats from last season, hopefully he can make a strong contribution to the Hounds this season.karl(east) wrote:Because he's moving, does he not have to sit out half the season? Haha, yes, I'm at Georgetown. Duluth has its nice little charms, but...not exactly a booming economy, is it? Hopefully I can catch a few games via internet sources, some around Christmas break, and I believe my Spring Break lines up with the State Tourney nicely. So I've got high expectations...east hockey wrote:It would appear no penalty is involved because it's a physical move. I had no idea who this kid was until I did some Google work. By the way, DC?? Couldn't get out of Duluth fast enough post-graduation, eh?

hey, good luck karl at Georgetown, new you'd go somewhere as you are such a brainiac!! great hound fan too, kid from brainerd, going to be hard to crack a great returning line up just because he had decent stats last year...not easy thing to do, but we'll seekarl(east) wrote:Haha, yes, I'm at Georgetown. This move should be suspect. His mother and sister still live in Brainerd. From what I understand his parents would have to divorce to make him eligible. I hope East doesn't have to forfeit games like a few years ago. Good luck with his oldman. He will watch every practice during the season. I wonder how Randolph will deal with that. He also has videotaped every game from ice-mites to the present. You will all see him with his camera at the games. Julius is a good kid. He is not a team player though. His stats from last year are good but he had alot of help from his linemates Frazer and Shepherd. They did all the work and Tamasy reaped the benefits. If you look deeper into his stats you will find he padded them against weeker teams and was a no-show against good competition.
Very interesting if it is true?????![]()
Mr. Ray is indeed solid and should do the Huskies well this year!hockeypimp111 wrote:Andover actually has a shot at competing this year in 7AA. they have a soild goalie in Matt Ray. and the junior class has been playing together for like 6 years.

They must've transferred from the St. Paul conference.Indians forever wrote:hockeypimp111 wrote:Andover actually has a shot at competing this year in 7AA. they have a soild goalie in Matt Ray. and the junior class has been playing together for like 6 years.

I would have to agree karl... and I do see Andover as making noise in section 7AA this year.karl(east) wrote:7AA is at a rather key turning point. The defending champs, Cloquet, lost a lot, though we learned last year that they can't be counted out. The last "great" team to come out of the section, Grand Rapids, is still a good team but needs to develop some real firepower to be a factor at the state level. Anoka lost a lot, and Andover, while on the rise, has aways to climb. And Forest Lake and Elk River are still hovering there, not necessarily as section title threats, but as teams capable of upsetting anybody.
Therefore, 7AA is Duluth East's to lose. The talent keeps gushing out of the program, and for the first time in 3 years no one left school early. East's depth and star power now exceed their rivals, which has not been the case for one or the other for the past 3 years. 7AA is East's to take, this year and probably for several subsequent years. We'll see if they seize that opportunity, though.
I agree with karl, east by far is the team to beat, god I hate what I just typed. Look'in for some upsets this year though. Cloquet!karl(east) wrote:7AA is at a rather key turning point.
