But how about this for math: 26-31 on the road ,.456
.650 at home
24 games left on the road. 18 at home.
11 more wins on the road and 12 at home.
90 is the number right now.
So you're say I have a chance with my WAG

Are the Twins playing? I thought, with all of the Olympic coverage, that they were on an extended break....still in first? I'll have to read below the fold of the sports page I guess.

Just a reminder of the contestents and their winning numbers.
IS 96 (and a new thread)
Neut 95
ER 94
Govs 93
PB 92
sinbin 91
tomASS 90
boblee 89
UNS 88
But remember, this is the number of wins that the division winner will have.
A cold one at the Liffey is on the line. You must be present to claim your prize.

97? You might as well pick 117.
88 is the number, if the winner needs more than that the Twins will be out hunting in october...

The Twins would have to finish the year 26-9 to reach
97, no easy task for sure. But hey the Rockies won 22 in a row last year, any thing is possible, right?
88 is just to low, the Twins and Sox would have to fall apart to end up there. Sorry no free drinks for you.

37 Games remaining.
Sox are at 72 wins.
They would only have to go 21-16 the rest of the way to hit 93.
Where do I pick up my trophy?

Govs, there is no trophy. The prize is a cold one at The Liffey on Thursday afternoon between sessions. You must be present to win.
Each year many luminaries such as elliot (who never buys) ChrisK, bluesbuddy, Stitch Lips and Sparlimb(if he doesnt get lost or is on a cruise)and others meet up at said time and place. This year we will have an awards ceremony to add to the agenda if the winner is in attendence.
Anybody want 98?

15 bales in
24 needed
36 still in the field
Since Today the Twins are +8, the goal is a 24-12 finish, why not? Liriano is dealing, Casilla is healing, and 2 of the next 3 opponents are reeling.

Is it required to be a domestic too since PB is buying?

Through the first four months of the season the Twins were +10, since Today they are +10. I think I went a little low with 96 wins.
Is 98 still up for grabs, if so I might take the upgrade.
96 Wins: Making Hay to Play 20 Over From Today.

No, I think the criteria is that it can't be a publicly owned beer company, but must be privately held and blessed by his catholic presence or you have to have a holy water chaser.

Awwwww I thought it was going to be a big beer rather than one of those happy meal size beers
that one is hardly communion size, not that I would know;
but still taking one from the barrister would be a revelation
not that I would know that either.

Span and Casilla proving to be tough outs at the top.
Liriano 63 pitches (44S, 19B) through 3. The bullpen will be called upon for 12 outs tonight.

What are they thinking running on Ichiro? Think he didn't learn from the first one?
Anyway, nice to see Casilla back.
