Elk River lost 5 players. Freshman Garrett Aldrich (F) and Anders Franke (G) are skating Varsity.

CB, that team was gutted as well.....ouch! The Elks would have had a very nice Bantam A team...not any more. Waste of time putting those 3 kids on JV, the black hole of hockey.

Why would a H.S. Coach put a kid on J.V. if he didn't think it would make them better. Isn't he cutting his own throat. Not trying to argue just thinking out loud.

I'm not sure. We played Sibley early and he was on there team and then this weekend he was gone and when I asked where he was they said he's play HS at STA. So Varsity or JV I'm not sure.

I'm curious to so if any one know let us know.

Always a question as to whether or not freshmen will have an influence playing Varsity at such a young age........One Lakeville North Freshman had a hatrick in his first Varsity game against Cretin........Won't happen every game of course but what a first game!!!!!!!!!!
