Hopkins 4 - 3 over NSP

Boyd was a phenom... can't recall who all got the other Royals goals or who got what for NSP.

Polars looked surprisingly good!

Irondale at NP

New Prague 6, Irondale 3 (eng)

For NP, Schyler Adams had a hat trick in the first period. Tyler Lapic and Kes each had 1 in the second and Lapic added an empty netter

I'm holding out for the ALL STARS to find a different conference. 104 consecutive conference wins. It's time for them to go play in the Classic Suburban and battle Hill and STA for a conference title or do they enjoy walking through the Missota year after year?

that argument is brought up on the "bored" every year. when they assign conferences they do not do it for just one sport. i played in the missota conference and every sport BUT hockey are extremely competitive. i know we are all hockey minded on here and think hockey should take first priority but all of the other sports provide great competition which is what you want in high school

I would have to agree with you, nearly all of the sports in the Missota are equal, Holy Angels hockey is slowly coming down aswell, if you look back at the teams with kilpatrick, hillen, hummel, frazee, barribal, and matson. Then compare them to todays team, the fire power isnt nearly as much. Holy Angels has also had some close calls the last couple years with an OT win over New Prague and a one goal win over Red Wing last year. This could possibly be the year the 100+ winning streak ends, possibly at the hands of Red Wing or New Prague

I respectively disagree! Sure, they dont have the unparalled offense they have had in years past. AHA's program has been good, and in my mind will always be good. As for the OT with new prague, that was from 2 years ago. That team went 26-1-1 (correction?) it was also the team that beat shattuck. They had a good team and aha was challenged. New prague's team is still pretty good and could they take a win off aha? maybe. the academy boys will definitely put up a great fight before that happens. As for red wing, they couldnt make a good offensive play tuesday. They had 25 shots on goal but only a few of those shots could have made it in; only 1 did. aha's defense has been weak in past years but experienced defensive men have filled those gaps this time around. This year should be interesting. Can they make a comeback from last year's disappointment (well beating hill wasnt too disappointing. . .)? We will see. . .
