i dont know if it counts but i think max birkenbine(WBL) scored two goals in regulation yesterday and one in the shoot out against AHA.

it would be his third hat trick of the year i beleive.

I would hazard to guess that it doesn't, seeing as the MSHSL deems all games that go to shootouts to be ties. If we follow the logic, it would seem that those goals would then not be counted.

But this is the MSHSL we're talking about here, so we can't exactly count on logic winning out. :lol:

No it's not considered a hat trick when completing it in a shoot-out.

Since the game officially ends as a tie, the goal won't even count towards his season stats.
