Edit - Final: Minnetonka 3, Hill-Murray 1. 3rd goal an empty netter.
Shots 23-22 HM.
And thus all attempts to rank the AA field were thrown into complete and utter turmoil.

3 teams in most people's top 5 have gone down today.
Haha ya this has definately been a day of upsets. Im guessing Edina will jump into first if they win, and Centennial and DE will drop to some where in the 5 or 6 range considering they both lost to teams they should have handled quite easily.

Edina beat Moorhead 3-0.

Does anybody have the Woodbury/SSP score?

Edina is up 2-0 with goals from Marshall Everson and Lee. 2nd period.

im thinkin the gold championship will come down Edina vs. WB, could go either way.

Most likely. Holy Angels is probably the team with the most to gain with a good showing in the Schwan Cup. In fact, there's probably a scenario in which 3 of the top 4 teams in the state coming out of the tournament could be from Section 2 (Edina, AHA, Jefferson).

Actually there's another one yet. Hunter Hanowski is a cousin to Ben, Beau, Joe, and is on the team.

Actually Ben Hanowski may have only had 3 goals. Gosiak may have had one.

The last of the Hanowski's. I think this one is a freshman.

True...however Woodbury came back with their own 4 unanswered goals in the 2nd and 3rd and eventually wore SSP down. This was a game of periods with SSP controlling about 1-1/2 periods and Woodbury the other.

Unless I've missed it, I haven't seen a posting of the DE score. How did they do?
