We won't know for sure until playoffs but they need some work in the offensive zone. They looked sloppy...
EP capitalized and Jefferson didn't. Simple. short. sweet. Jefferson's vaunted power play got 1(don't quote me on that) chance I believe the whole game. The refs let 'em play and that's a good thing in games like this. Jefferson's D definitely struggled, and they'll have to break outta their zone a lil' better down the stretch as well. Quite a few turnovers in the neutral zone and in their own end. I think this has basically been the norm for jefferson when they travel to EP, though. i wouldn't put anything into it more than that. EP will definitely be someone to be dealt with come State tourney time. I thought Leddy and Faust were fantastic and I expected more out of Herbert.

He scored 1 on a sweet move and he shoulda had 2. What a horrible game!

from what little i could tell from myfoxhockey it seemed like faust was a little more sloppy in the defensive zone then when i have seen him play in other games. certainly not a horrible game but he can play better.

Did Leddy get a slash that didn't get called? Was it a cheap shot?

I sure there are slashes that aren't called every game.

This slash looked like it really hurt Leddy.

I remember seeing this one, I think Leddy was doing a little acting and trying to draw a penalty. This happened right after Herbert was slashed hard on the wrists on a breakaway.

Did Jefferson loose the #1 seed to Edina?? Edina beat EP twice.

mulefarm,
I would argue that Bloomington Jefferson is still not the #1 team in section 2AA, but your choice of words work too

He was -3 on the night and he had 9 defensive zone turnovers. I have seen him play alot better thats all I am saying.

Maybe he was -3 and had 9 defensive zone turnovers because Eden Prairie put some pressure on their defense, and he is not use to pressure.

I think you are right. EP did a great job of making him look bad.

It's easy to say that when you are happy with the result. Obviously, EP has had their "off" nights.
