what if you are the 11th best team and in 20 games you have played the teams 1-10 and 11-21 (yeah, not practical, I know) and you are 10-10? You are losing to the teams better than you and beating the teams worse than you. Elk River isn't that exactly, but close. They play 7 of the top 10 teams and competed with all of them, which means they shouldn't be as high as them. But who's to say they aren't right below them?

Braham's 2005-2006 schedule:
http://www.minnesota-scores.net/teamsch ... 1&tid=2834
They played in the Bethel tournament, Mpls Henry, DeLaSalle and at the Pepsi Shootout. Outside of those 6 games (so I was off by 2) all the teams on their schedule are currently on their schedule.
Only AAAA teams were Mpls South and EP. De was AA at the time.
I have all the respect in the world for what they did when they had the Dahlman brother, I think more hockey teams should do it, but they simply didn't play many top teams. That being said, the ones they did play they did well against, including out of state teams like Compton.

Why are you even talking about Basketball or anything else for that matter? How many times have you said "end of story" only to see you continue to post the same thing over and over? No one will let it go if you keep adding your two cents non-stop!

Quit with the Basketball talk. HShockeywatcher find another Forum, you make NO Sense! Your driving people away with your BS. Little Falls is undefeated, beat Tech 10-2 last night. They are the REAL DEAL.

southernmnscout,
all four of those posts were in response to other posters.

Bauer 3000,
I made an analogy, someone made a comment on it and I responded. Sorry for responding to someone's comment.

Most other posters on this forum comment on other people's responses to their comments. So do I. If you don't want me to respond to your post, don't comment on what I say. It's a forum for discussion, sorry for using it for what it was meant to be used for.

sinbin006's correct. I've never played hockey competitively outside of gym class 8)

Not sure why that couldn't have been answered in a PM though. Pretty sure that's common knowledge for many on the board.

How do you figure? Since the Warroad loss to Cathedral on Janurary 1st Cathedral is undefeated, Warroad has one loss and Hermantown has two losses. All three have very different schedules, but I wouldn't argue one to be that much more difficult than the others.

I put SCC higher simply because of the result of head to head wins. Unless you have seen ALL three teams play multiple times and have something else to go on, it is my opinion it would be tough to have SCC behind either of the other two, especially Hermantown with the head to head meeting three weeks ago.

I guess I just get my hopes up when you say "end of story". To me that means that you are done talking about it. No such luck with you apparently?

Anyway, keep talking away with your nonsense, and I will just try and ignore your idiotic repetitive posts!

End of story!

I have seen all 3 of them teams play mutiple times this season and I'll tell you that [sargeywargey09] has it real close, for 1 the game warroad and scc was at the end of a 5 games in 6 days schedule for warroad, and they still took complete control of that game until that very very questionable call towards the end of the 3 and scc got a powerplay goal and added an emptynetter, the hot goalie also helped.but he wasn't to hot against the lourdes when I watched them and them 2 teams played an even game. now for 2 hermantown is alot better teamthen the one that show up that night against scc this team has around 140 goals on the years with there schedule that is unbelieveable I have been to over 50 high school games this season. put 2 boys thru hockey and working with 3 grand sons now, so no offense but if you have never laced them up or played the game, your opinion is just wind in our ears but if we ever need advice in floor hockey we know who to call

Well, I have laced them up, so I'll handle this one...

Warroad was in their 4th game in 5 days...Cathedral, ironically, was in the 4th game in 5 days as well... (Point void)

I will let you blame the refs if you want...penalties in the game were 3 to 2...4 if you count the misconduct. (Point void)

Cathedral doesn't win games by scoring goals...they win games by shutting down the other team by playing defense...(Point void)

You may be old and experienced...but you sure are senile.

Is Warroad better than Cathedral? Maybe. Did you prove that with anything that you said? Absolutely not.

Ever noticed how teams always seem to "play bad" against Cathedral? Well, it might just be because their 'D' shut them down.

Not that I think Lourdes is even a top 15 team but they had no trouble with the SCC D when I watched. I believe they scored 5 and beat the 5-2.

Maybe they didn't. Maybe everyone else did. SCC has given up seven goals in January and February...including Warroad AND Hermantown.

How about this........

STA has lost 6 times and tied once........PATHETIC!

How can LF be any good when they haven't played a team that could beat a group of nuns at hockey?

Everyone is in love with Warroad because they have beaten.........um..........hhhhhmmmmm.........who have they beaten?????????

People love Warroad because they can never be counted out of game. They have the single best line in Class A with Nelson, Hebel, and Shaugabay. They scored with 12 seconds left against Osseo and won in overtime. Down 4-1 against Moorhead and still forced overtime. On tuesday they were down 5-1 going into the third period and won 6-5 in regulation. They also have a deep defensive unit.

1. Little Falls
2. Warroad
3. SCC
4. STA
5. Breck
6. Hermantown
These are the only teams I can see winning state so why go anyfurther
