Could you guys please start a new thread for the rest of your discussion? Its good talk, but I'd like to start seeing scores again.

The Canadians you mention follow a much different developmental path indeed...but the difference is really post-Bantams. If the US wants to fast-track players to the NHL the changes don't need to be made in Pee Wees and Bantams.
Look at Peter Mueller. AAA hockey didn't get him to the NHL at 19. It was an accelerated path of the NTDP and Major Junior. From the same draft, I doubt James Sheppard played AAA in Canada as a Pee Wee or Bantam. Some of these players you mention, the 3-4 annually, are from less populated areas like Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan. I'm sure the Ontario kids play AAA. Not all of the others do.
The expression "pleading the 5th" is about to take on a whole new meaning. Once applying to self-incrimination, it soon will mean making no sense by presenting an argument where you keep contradicting yourself.

Elliot, you know a District Bantam title is more important that a Section 8AA title. They're just following that successful Rochester model that makes them a high school state power.

st. cloud only has 3 teams this year in bantams and 2 of them dont even have a full roster. it would be pretty hard to have more than 1 A team.

I only copied this list from another thread. I would like to see scores. I don't know if these times, or games are in the correct order. Looks like good match ups.
