Edina looked absolutely awesome as the game wore on, but never got that fifth goal.

Tie.

I'm interested in seeing OT shots. It might be something like 6-1 or 8-1 in favor of Edina. The puck only was in their end once.

An excellent game.

At least one of the SLP's can take down Irondale. :D Sophmore goaltender Ryan Nichols improves to 2-0 for the Orioles. SLP goals from Patterson, Smith, Erickson and Ritzman.

Good luck getting real shot counts. There were at least two shots by Edina that went over Burke and were counted as shots. People always talk about Phanton goals and assists, but the Phantom shots are worse. But shots don't win, it is goals.

Nice game for the STARS, but Edina is still a tough team. They outplayed the STARS for the second and third period. Burke was on tonight. STARS had their chances too, hit the pipe early in the third period and missed a couple of chances by not controlling the puck.

NHL score:

When I got home, Wild were losing 5-1 to Blackhacks after two, and just minutes after Hossa scored on a SH breakaway.

Wild won 6-5 in a shootout!!

Blaine 4
Elk River 3

Great game. Back and forth with the Elks being up 1-0 and 2-1 and the Bengals having to constantly rally back. Worth the $6.
