hmmm your a pretty smart kid, not.....he was picking up a bottle of coke that was thrown on the ice at a hibbing player, and he needed to skate over there and pick it up? let the reff take care of it

rule #1 if we are behind with little time left, we wont call anything. even the oviouse.
rule#2 if the wistle is in our mouth, chances are if it will benefit our HERMANTOWN HAWKS it will never be blown. as oiviose as icing is, when you are refs it doesnt matter. we will let them play.
rule #3 your at hermantown and this is the way we play hockey. thank you
also, it is okay to disallow a goal if there was a penalty on the play that the refs werent able to blow there wistle in time. rapids did it.

Come on man. Where did them Hibbing teachers get their degrees?

Hibbing and hermantown have a pretty healthy rivalry. I was just glad to see Hibbing play well in their last preperation game before playoffs.

It is truly amazing how one team who has had the most benefit from referees calls at home complain about other arenas referees. Quit your crying the game is over. Now do your job and get to State. And if we do our job, maybe we can meet again. And then when we beat you on neutral ice you can get another excuse.

The Coke bottle that was thrown at one of your players after we scored the tying goal? That sounds about right. I guess I am the smart one! How does the world look through those Range glasses!

you never would have beat us had there been a wistle for that icing. pretty sad you win games cheap by tripping players and taking the puck and scorin

Hibbing has a bad rep i think because of the way their players and coaches act towards the reffs, so they seem to get screwed more often

"Costed"?
How many of your 33 posts have been whining? Take a break, turn off the computer, go outside and do something instead of complaining. It'd be a nice change if you can take a hint.

I was at the game and saw it the first time. But thanks for refreshing the memory. No one said there was no penalty. It is not the responsibility of the coaches , players or fans of Hermantown to make a call. I guess its not a penalty unless its called

I've got nothing against Hermantown. It's just everytime I watch games there it seems that refs are so dog $hit for both teams. We all know it was a penalty, so good luck to you guys in the playoffs.

Hibbing has a bad rep because they are constistently make it to the section finals. not many people like teams that are good every year.

So when Hibbing trips a player why is called then? must be the jersey of the player. Question if you were a neutral ref would you have blown the whistle for the ice, and the 2 trips? you were probably the ref

yes i thought they got outplayed in the first period but was about even after that. Hibbing had good goaltending. Bugliosi seems to have stepped up lately and is helping out scoring. If him and both Johnsons and tromp can stay hot, they can go to state. Overall I say they are playing pretty good hockey right now and the whole team is contributing.

Now that all the sillyness is over, time to get serious.
Hibbing definetely outplayed Hermantown in the first. Hermantown fought back in the second and unfortunately the game ended with poor officiating. That being said, everyone in Section 7 should be very afraid of catching Hibbing right now. Hibbing is looking very good and good luck the rest of the way.
