come on all ready. did you look at the shot column before you left? let me ask. earlier you agreed the winner will advance to state, well has your mind changed? and what was with corrin for the second year in a row?

all i heard was the student section chanting. never did i hear one from the whole side except the wave. so if the refs were bad, what were some calls they missed?

I do not think these were good reffs, linesman was good but the reffs idk....

I blamed the refs twice. once for the hermantown game and once for the game in rapids. Atleast we make it to the decc. Just remember, we have made it to state more times than the falls and virginia put together!

Just remember we have won more state titles than you, and remember we didn't take the weak way out and go from double A to single A. Who really cares if you make the final two every year if you can't win it. And no you have complained many many more times than 2 games about the refs who are you kidding?? wow, thats almost too funny. The Falls were outplayed tonight, I will give the Hibbing team that, they did look good on the ice, but their is so much bad sportsmanship from that crowd it would be heard to ever root for a team like that.

did anyone see what happend after that 2nd goal #3 for the falls flipping out then goes to the bench punches his teammate then that guy trys to hit him back that if i was coach i woulda made those 2 corrin and christiansen walk back to the falls first thing monday morning those 4 should be on the PA apolagising to those who wasted a nice day like today and drove almost 3 hours to see that might be a while before i see another falls game nice drive tho

Not only that but, Hibbing ALWAYS Wins at the IRA and ALWAYS loses or (in hibbings words looses) at the DECC according to them.

Great intense game by both teams. The Falls did not lose this game to the refs. That crew did as good a job as any could in such a high stakes rivalry game. Did they miss some stuff both ways, sure but overall kept it in control and that is a sign of good officials. I do not have the stats but it appeared that Falls had plenty of power play chances in the game. I think they lost effectiveness on power play due to the ice time logged by Corrin, Youso and Christian. The lack of having a 3rd line to go to really hurt the Falls chances. Despite the lack of depth they still had 2 pipes and missed some golden opportunities. Say what you want folks the better team on this night anyway won the game. It was a very good game to take in as a fan of hockey, credit to both teams for putting on quite a show. You should be proud of how hard your kids battled in this one. That was one tough game, it reminded me of old IRC battles so take pride in that young athletes, you showed very well.

Northwoods oldtimer says it all, the falls had more then enough powerplays but,hibbing stacked the middle of the ice on the powerplays and the falls couldn't get anyshots to the net. The 2 falls players that got kicked out of the game deserved their penalties. Spearing and kicking another player is uncalled for.27 from hibbing runs is mouth all the time, and thats what happens when you trash talk someone when their down.

tell me one call they missed the whole game on hibbing. and why was tossing corrin out so bad? everybody knows he would have went after someone and there penalties were for more time than the clock had on it. keep in mind how your goalie flipped after that second goal and pushed his net around

What they did was bad yes, but there wasnt much time left in the game and they did not want those two to start anything in the hand shake, because they obviously showed they can not control their anger, and i dont blame them for getting mad, its their last high school game.

What to know what i think was the worst thing that happened that night? Was the fact that two hibbing kids went into the locker room after corrin and christianson were kicked out and tried to fight them. that is what i call pathetic. Say what you want about the fans throwing stuff on the ice but when hibbing fans start doing that stuff is just awful

not sure but i talked to one of the players of the falls and he said when they walked into the locker room after the game that one was being arrested by the cops and the other was being told by hibbings coach to get out of here. But i know it happened and not good class from them

The kid that got arrested was drunk, and on drugs as well. I was standing right next to Corrin when it happened. He came after us and started swinging, hit me, my friend, then Corrin. Big mistake. Willie hit him, took him down, and then smelt the alcohol on his breath which is when I went and got the cop, who got the kid for a minor and assault.
