EP will win this game, the team is playing their best hockey right now. Coaching staff has done a great job in getting the team prepared physically and mentally.

EP-4
Tonka-2

For us unattached fans, this is a win-win situation.

Either way, we get to see some lowercase d's at the X next week

keepyourheadup wrote:I wouldn't recommend trying to run Rau. The kid is tough as nails, Everson tried it in the Edina game and ended up out for 3 weeks. Minnetonka has the horses to beat EP straight up, getting side tracked trying to rough #7 is a poor plan. Hit him if its there but you start chasing him he'll hurt you even worse.
I think Tonka will play their game and won't try any cheap stuff. They are definitely the favorite and have been all season. EP beat BSM (weak team - exception Meyers) and Tonka beat a very strong Wayzata team. Have to give the nod to the Skippers - it's their game to lose in my opinion.

Tonka 3 (including empty netter)
EP 1

Anybody heard if they are preselling tickets at any of the schools? Are the tickets good for both games (6AA and 2AA)?
DANG - gotta lay off the liquid refreshments before posting on the forum!

This is way too freaky. Check out what the Mayan calander says about March 3rd 2010. It is listed as the day Edus Proven Uno day, which when translated by scholars is "Eden Prairie one". Is that just the most bizzare thing?

It is bizarre but you should have continued reading and you would have noticed is also said Tonkus Scorus doz which when translated interestingly enough means Tonka Scores 2... 8)

If you would have read correctly, the mention of the two was that Tonka wants to sit in section 2 to watch the state tourament. If you want further explainations, contact a Mayan.

I knew the Mayans well, and you're no Mayan.

Someone did a great job comparing Jefferson and Edina in another thread along the following categories. Anyone with in depth knowledge of EP and Tonka want to take a crack at it...?

Head to head grading-

Offensive Firepower:
Defense:
Goaltending:
Experience:

I'll do it for EP

Offensive Firepower: Definite star power with Rau, considered to be a one-line team for most of the year but switched up the lines for the last few games of the regular season and really hit their stride. Put up 4 against Wayzata in the semis.
Defense: Young but talented, Molenaar is a very good young player. They got to learn from watching Leddy last year.
Goaltending: Ford can be amazing at times and average at others. His performance is huge in determining the outcome of the game. If he is playing his best not much gets by.
Experience: Mostly comprised of juniors who have won the last 4 state championships they have been a part of (pwa, 2 bantam a, high school aa) and play very well under pressure.

Eden Prairie in an upset 4-3 in O.T.

Jefferson and Edina game should be a tight one as well. I just hope that this years Finals are better than last years games. They were pretty anticlimactic from what I can remember.
