When do the salesmen get together and hash it all out?

I believe they always set up shop at Tobies on the Wednesday of the last week of the regular season. (Feb. 15)
Those guys will go to the ends of the earth for Tobies' donuts. Not saying Hinckley is the end of the earth. You can just see it from there.

Is it possible?

7AA teams are true north teams, I would love to see a Rapids vs East final or if CEC can somehow pull it off who knows?? any combo of these three teams in the final, standing room only if that. shut the town down.

You honestly have no ammo for ER besides the single victory over Rapids which was a one goal game! You just need to give it a rest man..
1) East
2) Andover
3) Rapids
4) ER
5) CEC
Unless Rapids is destroyed by Moorhead they should get the 3 seed. Don't see any chance of the #2 either way. Andover has proven themselves worthy.

For all the grief Rapids has been catching for having a "weak" schedule, ER isn't exactly running a gauntlet. 10-0 over Coon Rapids and the shots were 53-4? 4 shots on goal? Come on man!

Yeah...that probably doesn't count as a quality win. I think the 4 shots were on icings.

No matter how you slice the pie (some may understand that one), the seedings are still up in the air. With the exception of the baker of course, they are locked in to #1.

Rapids with a HUGE quality win tonight over Moorhead! Even with their loss to ER without bischoff i think you can lock them into the 3

I was wondering if Andover has a win equal to Moorhead. Don't get me wrong, I think Andover is in the hunt for the 2 seed, but I think Rapids should be as well at this point.

Two wins over Elk River, but I wouldn't consider Elk River to be equal to Moorhead.

Of course. We know they are much better.

Still thinking that way after a HUGE loss on Monday to Hibbing? At home, no less?

Probably locks up the 4th seed for GR?

Yeah, but what they did to 'em in 2001 probably won't be a consideration this year.

Elk River lost to Anoka, which is a worse loss than Hibbing. Does Anoka have a UMD Bulldog on their team? Plus Rapids was playing without 3 of their top forwards and some of their guys played with the flu last night. Besides that the refs were pathetic last night. I heard it's been a while since Bruce was that fired out about the bad calls. I think Elk River is a good team, one that is capable of winning the section, I just look at all their results on mnhockeyhub and I don't see anything impressive enough to get them out of the 4 or 5 seed.

Why the excuses? They lost because they are an average team. Don't you think other teams have injuries and players sick. Why would you say Hibbing is better than Anoka? GR is a 4th seed no matter how you cut it.

It doesn't matter what seeding number gets assigned to who.
Somebody is going to have to beat East to make it to state.
IMHO.

However, it doesn't harm your chances to have someone else beat east. That said, I still think Rapids has the best shot to beat them. Cloquet proved they have a shot by keeping it close for 2 periods. Elk River has the type of goaltending and enough skill up front to beat East as well. If East is rolling for 3 periods though, it's gonna be nearly impossible.

Mn Scores.Net Rankings:
47 Hibbing/Chisholm (12-9) 66.8 A lowly single A team
NWSC The "mighty" AA teams
55 Anoka (7-12-1) 64.2
71 Osseo (9-11) 56.1
78 Champlin Park (8-12) 53.6
95 Robbinsdale Armstrong (6-13-2) 47.4
T-102 Coon Rapids (5-14-1) 43.8
107 North Metro (7-14) 43.1
Going strictly by the numbers it appears that at least one little single A school is ranked higher than 6 of the 10 NWSC AA schools. Not bad for a single A school.

Lee's 2/4 PageStat rankings:
2. East
13. GR
17. Andover
18. ER
24. Cloquet
Which is kind of how I see it - East is the clear favorite, and everyone else is a jumbled mess. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out.
And for what it's worth for those who are arguing Anoka and Hibbing:
35. Anoka
52. Hibbing
