Looks like the Northern Educate Empire is expanding into lacrosse, and Vadnais Heights.

Sounds rather insane to me. It's one thing to open up a hockey academy in the State of Hockey, or a Football Academy in Texas, but lacrosse in MN?
Maryland, maybe. But Minnesota? Fastest growing sport in both the state and the country, but the hotbeds of that sport are Out East. I can't see who'd pay to send their kids to a lacrosse-focused school in Vadnais Heights.

So can they not skate together after the season anymore or will their head coach just not be on the ice?

Shattuck has a golf "center of excellence." I guess if someone is going to pay $45,000 on golf, then $15,000 at a LAX in Mn might be a bargain.
