Like I said,,,,,,,,,, till you go watch some games at MNM no one wants to hear what you herd from a parent who knows of a coworkers friends uncles kid!
MNM JMH....just curious if you have watched all the top rated squirt A teams play this year or have you just based your comments/assumptions/predictions on what you've have heard from other parents, coworkers friends uncles kid on their level of play?

I thought some of Bernie's " Super Squirts" were pee-wee aged. Is this accurate ?

According to my coworkers friends uncles kid yes there are 6th graders playing in the "super squirts"....which i GUESS would make this whole topic pointless.

And who in your mind are the TOP RATED Squirt teams?

If Rosemount is on that list ... YES "very good and great coach" 8)
If OMG is on that list..... Yes
If Jefferson is on that list ..... Yes

Only commenting on the teams i've seen play:

Rosemount
Andover
Edina White

I've seen Jefferson play and no they are not a top rated team.
I've seen EP play and they are not as good as the 3 above IMO.

I've now seen all of the top 10 teams play this year except Blaine and Andover. I saw Andover play last year both A/B and have seen enough of the '01 and '02 AAA teams to know that Andover is for real.

I haven't seen the Super Squirts play, yet. But if there are kids in that program that are PW age, then it's not a fair comparison. It's kind of like a MN/ND team playing a team full of '02 Non-MN kids when a lot of those kids are '01s.

Based on who is playing in the SS and people I trust who have their kids there, they are good teams. Now can we get back to the thread?

I don't see any of those games on their schedule Whopper. If those games were played they should be entered into YHH so they get factored into the rankings.

Don't think Rosemount has played OMG or Andover yet. Blaine did beat Andover today...

We should be able to get closer on an accurate top ten this week. Super squirt folks this does not involve you. We understand. This is a community based top ten. You parents can rank your four teams.

Funny stuff. If it's mediocre hockey, I'd love to see great hockey! I have no kids in the league, but I know a lot of people and kids playing there and I agree with a lot of the posters that the Squirt league is vastly superior hockey to association squirts. For the OG's and Chumbys of the world, you should go see for yourself.

No I think I'm on the right page. No I'm not 85. [that's the year I graduated] I do have a C squirt also a Asquirt Also 12A Also BanAA and my oldest graduated last year and no longer plays. So I don't see why I shouldn 't be able to post on a top 10 squirt thread. Can you explain Koolaid breath ????

top squirt A teams

Just a little clarification...most (not all) of the top squirt AGE ELIGIBLE players are playing in their associations, not in Super Squirts. Also, there are PEE WEE eligible players playing in the Super Squirts league so let's compare apples to apples. The hockey in SS is good, no doubt..it should be. But I've seen quite a few high end squirt A teams this year and that is very good hockey as well. It's tough to compare the two when at the Squirt A level, everyone is Squirt age....that's not the case at SS.

rosemount has beaten every good team. maple grove andover er wbl minnetonka stillwater edina who's left? Would love to play the choise teams but I don't think the rules allow it. When my kid was at this level we did both . can't have too much fun or too much hockey

Funny what you wish for. Rosemount vs White Bear, Andover and OMG this weekend were all really VERY competitive games. I think it is safe to say all these teams are Top 10 for sure and will jockey positions throughout the year. You can certainly put Stillwater in the mix too.

Rosemount 6 to 3 over white bear lake and had an easy time with stillwater. I saw those games rosemount much better.Maple grove andover and blaine close but no cigar. Lets see what fredick writes about rosemount beating maple grove.Iam not involved in rosemount just appreciate good hockey and the score says it all. One goal or ten you still loose

Your right all these teams are very good. There will be some movement and some very good games to see but at the end of the day rosemount will be very hard to beat. Every one has a bad day good teams have few. Rosemount my pick to win the big show in fargo the high lite of the squit season, who's your pick
