Moorhead proved to the state that they will be at state again this season representing section 8AA, good for them <p></p><i></i>

I thought it was a good game, showed up well on TV. As far as the teams went, Moorhead definately a top ten team. GR had way too much trouble with Spuds forecheck and team speed. Their Goalie was great however. Moorhead, while looking good, showed a lot of vulnerability in their own end. Too many turnovers - GR just couldn't capitalize on them until it was too late.<br><br>Good game for both teams tho. <p></p><i></i>

That's what I was getting at. Moorhead's forecheck and overall speed was tough at times, but Moorhead is vulnerable in their own end too, so that's why the score was close. Both teams were vulnerable in areas. I felt Rapids just didn't generate enough quality shots. A few times kids skated in and put a hard shot on net, but gotta set up some screens and put the puck low so a forward moving in can get a chance to put home a rebound. <p></p><i></i>

Empire once again your praising other teams. No true fan of elk river would praise mooreheads play, ever. Moorehead is one of er's arch-rivals.Once again im asking you to Please Take the ER out of your name. Your a discrease to the Elkoholics. Like i said before your not even from elk river! <p></p><i></i>

Don't take my "semi-praise" of Moorhead as becoming a fan of them, that will never happen. I still would not cheer for them, but that doesn't mean I don't recognize that they have talent and are a solid team. You really gotta learn buddy.<br><br>And as far as not being from Elk River, 100 yards pal. I'm on the wrong side of the river... but check the mailing address. My bottom line is the same as anyone else in ER. if i'm not wrong, technically, isn't a "discrease" what a goalie does when he scratches out a perfectly good surface in the crease after it has been "recreased" by the zamboni??
