Definitely the coldest, played there back in the early 80's and my dad and I still joke about how cold it was to this day.

Old goalie I agree with you on the old Forest Lake Arena being very cold. Elk River sucked with the metal fencing instead of glass. It sucked hitting that.

Wakota Arena also had the metal fencing around either end of the rink, and getting checked into that (with no facemask protection) was not a pleasant experience either.
At least the arena wasn't too cold.

In Minnesota our choice is Fryburger followed by Cloquet.
The coldest though was a place called Pershing Field in Jersey City NJ. The wind has about 40 miles of the Hudson River to work its way down getting funnelled between the skyscrapers in NYC and Jersey City. We actually called a timeout took the kids off the ice into the locker room and one parent had a hairdryer and another parent ran out and got one of those Milwaukee Tile Heaters and warmed the kids feet and skates. Someone had some extra of those Feet Warmer Thingies and we put them in the kids skates and finished the game.
