Eden Prairie wins in double overtime 3-2!
Ep went down a man and on the penalty kill and i think it was Keeley who blocks a shot and goes down the ice and scores to win it

Filthy bardown shorty to end it. Gutsy performance by snugerrud who blocked.a shot with his hand and after going off basically played rest of game with 1 hand. Congrats to Eagles.

Crackin open a cold one after that one tonight boys. If you see a red and black tent outside the X within the next week don't be afraid to stop in and say hello.

Tough loss for Benilde. In the second OT Naas gets free and goes in, dekes the goalie but gets hooked just enough to cause him to miss the open net. Then on the ensuing Benilde power play Keeley blocks the shot from the point, goes the other direction and shoots unimpeded and doesn't miss. In all fairness the Eagles controlled the majority of the play after the second period, which was all Benilde but they could only convert on two.

Fun game to watch!

Agreed. EP seemed to take control in the third and OT (up until the Naas break). Looked like BSM went into a bit of a "trying not to lose" mindset.

Tremendous shot to win it.

I think Pauly is gonna get it done tomorrow. I am going with BSM 5...EP 1. I think these two teams are very, very even...but one will fold tomorrow. I am bettin on the Red Knights to move on decisively.
way off.

Yep...win some ya lose some...I predicted Shattuck wiping out BSM last year and the Red Knights took 'em down. I am pretty good at eating crow.

according to the article from the star tribune Snuggarud broke his hand when he blocked the shot in the 2nd period. Pretty impressive that he continued to play in the game.
