My guess is that all of the teams in the Gold Division could have played lower and gotten 2 or more wins.

I’d take a tie in the Gold Division with higher caliber opponents, than a win in the Open Division, but that’s my personal preference.
Did I overstate their accomplishments? Maybe. Considering I was not expecting them to be competitive in any of the games, especially when faced with a second night opponent in either Minnetonka or Edina, they overachieved in my book. Should they get the championship trophy because of that? No.

I see what you did here. Since the Hilltopper thread got locked the Gold division is AA and the Open division is HermAntown who's more interested in getting a sub par trophy and banner to hang in the rink. Nicely done.

Edina (VI)
St. Michael-Albertville (VIII)
I applaud whoever had the foresight to round up that field.
