Anyone else notice a certain Edina defenseman now listed on EP's tune up cup roster?
Where can we find these rosters, are they posted publicly?

I only see Andor at F and Choi at D swapping from the bubble to EP...unless the Johnson listed as a F is W. Johnson?

That'd be Tyler Johnson

Ahh, thank you.
OK, so we have 5-2-7 leaving along with 0-0-0 over to EP...I like Andor's game and I suppose it weakens Edina's front line a little but I am not seeing this as a game changer? I suppose it's an easier shot at State as opposed to playing in the meatgrinder that is 6AA

YHH discussed the story today on a podcast, so I guess we won’t wait for a 3AA forum rep. Former SSM bantam defenseman star Will Skahan has been playing with Blue Army , and will in all probability be wearing an STA uni this fall . Along with the elite league performance of Nagel and Cronin, STA stock has definitely risen in 3AA , and they may be nipping at CDH heels .

Yeah, I wasn't necessarily bringing it up to hint at any substantial impact in regards to these moves; just thought it was a bit rare to see kids strip off the green/yellow for the red/black, despite literally being a stones throw away... Maybe I just never noticed it before... EP was seen as having a down year this season so they must've been a "hot" target for borderline kids hoping to make an impact.

Definitely doesn't hurt with ST moving to D1 this year; I don't care what anyone says--this will be a huge factor for future recruits. Oh, and it doesn't hurt to have someone on the bench like Randolph. I'm not 100% sold on him being a good fit there, but you can't question a a coach of that caliber having an impact on that program from the first drop of the puck...

The F tried to go to a local private school - but was denied - so tried on EP and got in. Help added for a young EP team.

I am curious to how the two Edina kids were allowed to transfer to EP as seniors by the MSHSL. Did they move to EP?

Any clue whether he would he be required to sit for a year and play JV like Blake had to after transferring from SSM?

Depends on whether his family moved or not? Schweitzer left SSM to attend BSM as a 10th grader and was eligible right away because his family moved.

Nate Schweitzer played Varsity for Benilde in 9th grade. Are you referring to Blake Mesenberg?
