Any others that we should add to this list and/or any standout performances this season by kids in this group listed above, etc.?

there are probably just as many kids that aren't playing varsity that are just as good as many of these mentioned on this board.

Why don't some of the schools keep their MSHSL stats up to date? I would think MSHSL would want them to keep it up dated.

What is the incentive?

MSHSL stats & results erase at the end of each year. There is no archive.

Similarly, there is no complete boxscore data archived for SportsHuddle - just summary data.

Other stats sites rarely report anything beyond scores.

A FREE solution to these issues was attempted this season, and unfortunately only 25% of the teams decided to explore this option. Hopefully more will in the future...

What Minnetonka isn't SOUTH to you . I agree, the geography gets a bit fuzzy sometimes...sure doesn't leave a whole lot of room for the East & West teams. I think the North stretches all the way to Elk River too.

Is this done by MN H regions/sections/districts like NDP?

I think the North team runs on a line that's everything north from Moorhead to Duluth.

Yes, it's statewide, not metrowide. With most of the population being in the cities, the boundaries are unusual . Centennial is West, Tonka is South, White Bear Lake is East, to name a few. Not exactly true to geography...<img src=

If they go by strict boundaries, that might eliminate some deserving players from a section while allowing a couple "weaker" players from a section thats not as deep in talent. Maybe they identify the best players, then divide them up with "liberal" boundary lines? I don't know, but this would work for me.

BTW, how did I become the subject of your posts? <img src=

Does that leave "North" being anywhere but the metro as the North team seems to have the most geographically wide range of players in both Selects and Elites?

i haven't really seen dana gallop play for a while but the last tournaments i've seen her in was elite and selects and she didn't do much. Although i hear that she has improved imensley so hats off to her and i will be for sure heading to those tournament games and will look out for her. i remember when i went to a ice cats game against dana's team she didn't get past melissa and rose 1 and i beleive she didn't even get 1 point in that game (although it was kind of a blow out) but melissa and rose were partners and they are great players i don't remember people getting past them 1 rose is so smart with the puck and melissa makes very safe smart plays both very physical and great skaters.. great players and can't wait to see them play again on icecats along with ramsey burns and barnes<img src=

well chuckslim, now 3 of those 8th graders in that post by PAM are starting players for their high schools varsity so yes, I would say the age doesn't matter, they are varsity players and good ones too
