so what if he practiced with them, the only times he would ever play with them in practices would be on 2 on 1s or something, but i saw some of their practices and they did that a little bit, and mostly did breakouts and regroups or skating. so he still played with hatch most of the time in practices.

As far as Maple Grove having 6 skaters and a goalie coming back. Will any of them be passing up bantams to go play high school?

The elks will be a very strong team in D10 this upcoming season. They have 10 skaters returning from last season - a team that placed thrid place last year in D10.

9) Duluth East
10) Andover
11) Rosemount

How is Centennial #3? I mean I like that you put Ep down as #1 8) , but what about Centennial?

are you kidding me having EP being the best bantam A team next year? Centennial, Edina, and Chaska will be better for sure

It's too early to take any rankings seriously.

I expect that the top 4 or 5 are going to be close in quality but with different personalities.

Chaska may be the most skilled, but size matters. The small guys won't have their way at this level like they did in Peewees 2 years ago. Still, they will be loaded.

Centennial returns some solid players and Lovick is terrific, but they will be a bit short on depth which could wear on them with a 60+ game season. However, the Centennial teams have had a history of rising to the occasion with no name players that can grind. They should also have solid goatending.

Edina has a few returners along with an outstanding crop of returning B1's. No weaknesses.

EP will have size, skill, and solid Goaltending. They may be one of a few teams that can control a game physically. They will also have a couple of first year kids that will make an impact. Another association with solid returning B1's. No weaknesses.

Blaine will have some studs, but may be short on D.

Maple Grove and Wayzata could surprise with team speed.

I totally agree about EP being a force to deal with next year especially in D6. They have a great returning goalie and some big, strong players on offense and defense. Chaska will be losing some of their bigger guys and will have a tough time competing next year. Don't forget that they got knocked out early in the playoffs by Burnsville and next years team will be even weaker. Burnsville has a lot of returning players but not a returning goalie which Edina, Chaska, Minnetonka and EP should all have. If BV has someone step up they could be strong but you need a strong goalie to get out of districts. Edina is always a force in youth hockey and should be tough again but nothing like last year.

Outside of D6 the tough teams will probably be Centennial, Blaine and WBL which have really shown the strength of their programs the last several years. Most of the teams this year will be quite different than 2 years ago at PW's because of how players grew and the fact that some players move up or out of programs.

This team will be good but the coach is still a mystery.
