It's also important to remember that there are crappy teams in class AA, too. The crappiest teams in AA are arguably no better than the crappiest in Class A.

Anyone of the AA teams would have had a tough time making it through the section including Blake, Breck, Benilde, and Totino. I'm not saying they wouldn't have won, but it would have been a tougher road to state than many of the AA sections.

Peapod, you dont know what you are talking about. this was a great game with great teams. The players are great...it was just over all one of the best games i have ever seen. So you are WRONG! it is that simple

Yee haw, class A champs! Watching them win it was just like watching GF Central/RR (whichever it was) win the ND title... if you catch my drift.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p074.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... >swifty at: 3/5/05 3:34 pm

Peapod- Well here goes. You must have played basketball your whole life. I am certain that was the dumbest post ever on this whole frickin' board. You must not like end to end action with 2 GREAT hockey teams. Thanks for letting me know your inteligence level. I'm out!

Luckily I have most of that Apple Valley v. East game on tape (converted to DVD now). I'm not going to say one was any better than the other -- this one was for a state championship, that one was essentially (but it really was a semi).

In any case, these two teams are as good as the AA teams. On any given night either of these teams could beat any AA team. Anyone who says differently doesn't know hockey.

I believe it was 5 OTs. I have it on tape, like I said, but haven't watched it recently. It for sure was at least 5 and I think that's all it was. Part of why that game was so great was because it was like this one -- end to end with scoring chances galore. It was incredible that a game could last that long with all of the scoring chances there were.

All I can say is WOW! The best game I've seen all year. The moorhead and warroad game earlier this season was great but this tops that even. Hats off to TG cause i didnt think they could come back after Warroad got up 3-2 late in the 3rd. Fitting way for this game to end on the stick from Mr. Marvin, maybe grandpa Cal had alittle to do with it! Also what a play by Oshie(aka Mr. Hockey?? hopefully <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D"> ) Plus to all the doubters of Mark Thiele before the start of this season I hope you see now why no one was worried in Warroad!

Peapod, or whatever, I think that you are the most ingnorant person to ever post on this board. That was probably one of the best high school hockey games I have ever seen. What a pass by Oshie! The goaltending was amazing.

I was a doubter of TG at the beginging of this tourney thinking that they had no chance at this tourney but they proved me wrong props to the TG, they did not have the talent but they had the heart. This was one of the best games i have evr seen, props to both TG and Warraod for a great tournament

after attending totino's opening section game with blake at parade...i knew they had the right stuff. like new englands nfl team totino's team is comprised of many no-name players who play as a team, under the radar, and get it done. but, hey, warroad all the way baby.

Apparently luck was on Warroad's side today.. Yes, probably the best game I have seen. I had a minor heart attack about every minute! They work so well with eachother because there's not one player so much better than the others. But you can't say that they didn't have the talent. They went into double overtime with Warroad who is undefeated! I think they had both the talent and the heart, there were just little mistakes that Warroad took advantage of. Like, for example, the penalty at the end there.
