Bemidji beats Wayne State 7-5 in a strange game.

Sure looked like it from the box score. Climie gives up, what, four goals in the first eight shots and gets yanked? Was he the one pulled in the first period of the "Animal Toss" game against tUMD where the Dogs pissed away a three goal lead and lost in OT?

Yeah, that was Climie.
Makes 40 saves against CC, then a good game with Wayne State and then, zip.
I guess that's why a team needs two good tenders.

Bemidji is playing well. Is Erickson done for the year? Or is there a chance he could come back?

Last I heard Luke could be back, but I think it will be close so REHAB will be the tell.
But I hope he can come back, not for the Beavs, but becasue the kid deserves it.

I thought I heard he was going to be back by the end of February.

Feb is what they are shooting for but until the time and healing passes and then the matter of strength...
I am hoping for the best.

I haven't checked the schedule. What's on tap for the Beaves this weekend?

I just read the paper. How has Michigan Tech been doing?

Tech was fairly suprising to start the year, they are better than the Tech of recent years. They are led by usually strong goaltending, but have been having a problem scoring. Last weekend, the Huskies were swept by the UMD Bulldogs at the DECC.

Will be interesting to see how they bounce back this weekend.

Can someone update me on the play of Travis Winter?

Travis Winter has been playing very well lately. He had a 5 point night and i think that weekend ended up being a 7 or 8 pointer for him. So he's been doing very well. But against Mich Tech tonight, it sounded like the Beav's couldnt get anything going. I dont think Climie played well (again) either. Maybe Alamano or Sedevie will get the start for game 2. They're still 5-2 against WCHA teams, which is pretty darn good. #16 in the country right now too.

Tough weekend for the Beavers, but hopefully they can rebound this coming series against UND. Keep putting the Sioux in a hole that they won't be able to dig themselves out of.

I haven't seen the scores for this weekend. How bad was it?

Lost both, not bad scores, just no offense.
Nothing to worry about, hard to keep it high every weekend.
I know, based on the talk around town, people looking ahead to the Souix games, so players probalby felt a little of it, too.

BSU needs to go crush UND.

It depends onhow healthy they are.
Serratore will probably not play those that are doubtful because he wants them healthy for CHA games.
But yes, crush those Fighting Norwiegens, I mean Souix.

I heard Ryan Cramer has plans to play for Bemidji next year, any truth to that?

Cramer will wear green and white in 07-08.
How much he plays depends on how hard he works.

Beav's lost 6-3 at the ralph. They started off great by scoring the first 2 goals, but the SUE scored one to make it 2-1 after the first. Penalties absolutely killed 'em. I think they had like 10 or 11 penalties, and then the sioux's top line/powerplay took over. The game was called pretty unevenly in my opinion but that's hockey I guess. The last goal of the game was an empty netter. The beavers outplayed 'em the first night, and hung with 'em the second night. For having only 1 drafted player, I'm pretty impressed by the beavs.

Beavers head for Alabama-Huntsville this weekend. How have they been doing this year? Predictions for the series?
