Why do people care so much about there being more than one class in any sport.

I dont understand the problem.

People that compete in the classes that are set up for smaller schools dont have any misgivings about what they are. The guys that won the 9man in football dont think they are the same as Eden Prarie.

Same is true in hockey and other sports.

Are you afraid that the kids at Bloomington Jefferson and Eden Prarie will quit because the kids in Hutchinson get to play too?

I dont get what all of the fuss is about.

That tells ya thats there are so many different teams in the lower divisions that they can do that. In the upper divisions it wouldn't be possible for that many teams to be undefeated.

He means that nine man football is about as interesting as Slappy's posts (and 9-man makes a about as much sense as HShockeywatcher's posts)!

...AP is getting tired of only picking on easy Spud posters (AP's posting record is like a nine man football champ's season... but easier to remember.

It's just like the lower classes in basketball and probably even in hockey. If they were that good, at least 3 and maybe 4 A teams could make it to state undefeated. It never happens because no one in that good, but their schedules don't overlap. Just like in nine man football. For the most part it could happen in football in any class.

Thats an excellent point SS.

It appears that the elite, bigotted Supremests continue with their hatred of those 'in steerage' and want them to stay in the back of the bus.

Hard to understand.

As a good Catholic boy, you were taught better. Which is one of the reasons you could still suit up as the 5th line center.

With who(m) are you talking?

I have nothing against Slappy... just the company he keeps.

(Oops, Packer, you just ruined my jab at Slappy, again)

Slappy is a good Catholic who is a former Catholic high school hockey player.

He is also a conservative.

So, watch out.

Absolutely Packerboy !

More importantly it illustrates why f :-s lks are petrified with the prospect of opting up to 9 man!

Let Slappy have Section 8, but he best find religion by Good Friday.
