Last year when Rosemount played Jefferson in Rosemount the Jefferson fans chanted season's over in the middle of the second period in December. Im not sure why they were chanting either because it wasn't like they had just scored.

Roseville's student section made a key acquisition by picking up Andrew Spangenberg off waivers, so Roseville has the best student section with ease, after that i'd say Rosemount because of that guy with the drums and the cowboy hat. Roseville has got the "SCOREBOARD" chant down, and they had an awesome "Daddy's Money" chant going when they played Wayzata (and won thanks to Harry Potter)

One of the greater chants I have ever heard was about 3 years ago when Red Wing played STA in the section 3A chamionship and the Red Wing fans chanted "Sausage Party" while waving hot dogs and summer sausages as STA took the ice.
Dont worry, it happened last year too. Hit a couple guys with them afterwards. A few of my friends met Crandall last summer and apparently he enjoyed waving one of them around.
I actually remember that now, I think their coach was quite pissed.

Last night at the STA/Holy Angels Basketball game... St. Thomas is up 25 pts. and the AHA fans start chanting "Hockey, Hockey", then STA kids go "Who won state? Who won state?", AHA- "Single A, Single A", STA kids come back with, "Apple Valley, Apple Valley", it was entertaining

Last year at the SLP- Blake game in sections. Some kids from SLP started to chant "Daddy's money", the Blake kids then came back by singing the National American University song.
SLP kids come back with "parking lot" (apparently they wanted to scuffle), to which the Blake section replies, "we have cars there".
Great little rivalry.

Irishman,
I thought it was MSHSL that didn't allow artificial noise makers of any kind?

I was also at the STA vs. AHA basketball game there were a lot of great chants.
AHA: Homos homos
STA responded: Beat by Homos
AHA:We got girls
STA responded: We can't see them
The AHA students at the end of the game walked right up to the STA student section and it looked like there was going to be a brawl.

When we played CP last week we started chanting "Sausage fest" due to the poor ratio on their side of the stands. They came back with "Who let the dogs out" aimed at the large amount of loud danceline girls in our section. Touche you guys

i don't know if they still do this there since i haven't been a student there in a few years but century always brings play money and chants we've got money. it only happens when they play jm or mayo. its only funny because jm and mayo call us the "rich school"

the best that comes to mind last year was the game between Virginia and Hibbing where all the Virginia fans where sitting in the Hibbing Student Section and all of a sudden the whole place erupts in "STUDENT SECTION" chant it was really commical to be honest.

At the Elk River/Maple Grove game, the MG cheerleaders were on the ice wearing jerseys, when a student yelled "hey 11, you're gonna crack the ice" and after her fellow cheerleaders started laughing at her and she turned bright red, they chanted 'who let the dogs out' and they actually had the barks down.

jefferson and minnetonka have the best by far. especially jefferson. they got a packed house every game and plus, they got their mites showing up doing all the chants with the student section.

I falls fans get pretty hilarious at times too. I've been at numerous games where various things have gotten thrown on the ice such as frozen deer heads, fish, chickens, etc. but chants-wise they are ridiculously unorganized and can't get much going
