Spuds have lost one home game in the past 4 years...can't really see them losing here. Roseau only tries to win the first period...then they play defensive hockey the rest of the way. Spuds will win.

3-2 Moorhead. Look for the Spuds to win all 3 matches this year.

You're close - they lost 2 at home in the last 4 years (both last year). Fargo South 5-4 and Hill-Murray 6-3

I'm wondering...were you at the game or do you think it was a easy win because of the score? The first game was fairly evenly matched.
Moorhead's first goal deflected off of Opheim's skate on a dump in with no Spuds within 40 ft of a rebound, and the last goal was an empty netter.
This game will definately depend on Roseau's defense. Moorhead will bring their solid consistent game (besides TRF). What'll hurt or help Roseau is how many times they think they can rush both defenseman trying to create offensive plays. The D (including Ness) should know Moorhead will find
SOME way to slow them down and create odd man rushes the other way. If Roseau comes to play smart hockey, then I don't see how Moorhead's "Train" can't be derailed. Either way, whoever scores first will win. I hope Moorhead's confidence doesn't forget last years Section 8.

Roseau "can" beat this Moorhead team. I don't think you're going to see Moorhead scoring 6 goals against either Bjerk or Lee.....whoever gets the start tonight.
Go Rams!

The Spuds will not lose to Roseau at home. Even last year, when Roseau was clearly the better team, Moorhead scraped together an OT win. This year I think the Spuds definitely have the edge. I expect a convincing win this time, with a closer game at the lil' Ralph.
Moorhead by 2. Probably 3-1.

If Moorhead gets an early lead they will roll to a big win. If Roseau can keep it close early it will come down to a one goal game.
The home crowd will be a factor in this one. A sell out at MSC. Get the music ready. Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Na, Hey.
Spuds 4-2.
