Good luck to everyone on final exams. Luckily I've only got 2..Psychology and Biology (shudder). Last day of class is the 14th, study day is the 15th, then four days of exams (incl. Sat, but i dont have any on that day! Although I wish I did so I could leave before the 20th at 1pm. And speaking of the 20th, anyone gonna be at the HM-BSM game at aldrich?<br><br>ER, gotta agree with you on the hockey factor: its hard to come by good games away from the cities, and it doesnt help that I dont have a car. <p></p><i></i>

I don't have any finals yet (still in high school), but I have the ACT tomorrow. Then I have a huge project on Tennessee Williams in English due Monday, which has a 5-7 minute speech and a 5-7 page paper. Good old days of High School. ACT...I went to the Wild game the night before, and didnt take it again... Maybe I should've though, had I scored higher, i might have gotten a few hundred more dollars in assistance, but what's done is done, right?<br><br>Good old projects....how I don't miss them. I do however need to think up answers to 5 minutes worth of questions for Spanish (easy). <br><br>Advice to anyone coming into college: If you can get $2,370 or more in scholarships than the school awards you, don't do work-study, because I'm killing myself working 2 jobs ensuring I get enough hours to make all the money....Sure you need work experience, but not your freshman year. (And most kids get work experience in high school nowadays). <p></p><i></i>

Yeah i agree with you hill, a job freshman year is just not a top priority. I got horrible grades last year without a job, i dont know if thats a good example but freshman year is all about getting used to living on your own and getting up for class without your mom waking you up. I work 33 hours on the weekends and i can say it does get to me. Like i have a final monday morning and after 33 hours this weekend, i wont be ready at all.
