I havent watched Blake play in the past month or so its just that that was their second 5 goal loss recently. I dont think they do since the two have played each other in league twice already.

i00b . . . CBI was talking EP, not D3. Thanks for your analysis and insight on the game last night. I thought it was pretty even and back and forth. Fun game to be a part of and had me on the edge of my bench for 75 minutes. I had the shots at 23-15 (close to the 27-17 reported). I thought the play was even, but they pulled the trigger more and no, I don't think that what we showed is all we have. Couple of injuries slowed down some keys for us. That said, I think a tie was still the right result.
And yes, CBI, we play again on Feb. 11th . . . last disrict game. Should be a barn burner and can't get here soon enough!! Until then I have a couple Seccret Society Meetings with blueblood next. MAN, D6 IS FUN!!!

everyone's trying to gain a top 5 position in D6. I don't think any team wants to go through the wild card process in order to make the double elimination district tourney process.
Burnsville vs. Chaska in about an 1 1/2

i now think eagle guy is right in him saying that ep black can put out more. i was wrong in the first place to say that. i was suprised at, for loss of a better word, lack of hitting by ep black. they played physical, i was just suprised to see a smaller number of hits than expected. there was one player on ep red (number 15 16 or 17 i don't remember) that kept trying to go out there and lay someone out but other than that ep red did not play that physical.

Burnsville 3
Chaska 2
Burnsville out hustled, out thought, and had better team speed than Chaska in today's game. Chaska's talent was up to their old under performing individual play again (have they found a cure for that yet?)
Burnsville scored in the first 30 seconds of the game as Chaska was lazy in moving the puck in the defense zone. After attempting a blind pass and a behind the back pass they gave it away to a Blaze player who brought it home for what proved to be the deciding goal and play of the game.
Burnsville should be proud on how hard they work through out the whole game and how they work together as a united team.[/b]

Elk River over Maple Grove 3 to 2 in the championship of John Twaddle. Elk River scored 2 goals in the 1st 42 seconds of the game and hung on. Maple Grove out shot them 30/17.
Maple grove beat Duluth East 1 to 0 to get to the ship and Elk River beat up on some horrible teams

Turk,
you are correct not a very good choice of words. Let me be a bit more politically correct/// They beat up on teams that were not very talented. Nothing against ER for setting themselves up, they are a very talented team, just stating a fact. It was a fun game to watch.

Elk River Bantam B1 won their own tournament this weekend, beating Maple Grove 3-2 in the Championship game. That is their 4th tournament championship in a row.

Indeed the ER/MG game was a very fast fun game to watch. If there would have been another 5-7 minutes in the game MG would have won. They are very fast, well coached team. Hustle, hustle, hustle. They outworked the ER team in the final 2 periods. They are one of the top teams I've seen play this season. They didn't give up after being down 2-0 early. Look for MG to ruffle some feathers in the post season...

Eagle Guy...Who was hurt? Every one from your team seemed to be playing...

#7 had a headache from a hit he took and #17 had a concussion, which we didn't discover until afterwards. He kept playing, but we could tell he wasn't his normal self. We think it was a hit about half way through the game, but we couldn't pinpoint any big hits.

LPH
Centennial way too high
Duluth East way too high

I think Minnetonka is too low as well, they have been sneaking up on some people as of late.
It maybe their inconsistent play that is hurting them in the LPH rankings...

I find it amazing the amount of interest and chat the BB1 level gets compared to any other level including the "A" level. I mean it is not even close.
Are there any opinions or theorys as to why that is? Personally I think it is great, but a bit odd.
