what would you do if it was your section final of your senior year and you, all the coaches, players and trainers feel you can play. thats not stupid, thats being a player. He will be fine, i bet it wont effect his game as much as you would think.

time will tell...I mean, I respect the hell out of the kid for playing...but the style of game he plays it will probably tough to do...

Surprisingly i think that Bill Hurley is going to be alot of help for Gutsch tomorrow, or whenever the game is. I think having such a big kid on your line is going to take a little pressure off Gutsh and he won't have to be as physical, which might be hard because thats how Gutsch plays. Hurley will have to play very physical but try not to take stupid penalties.

well SCC is already in town so we need not hear any excuses about the road trip.... they wur at the hTOWN/ hIB GAME . Marshall will dominate... I hope

Hurley will be zip help when Gutsch has the puck along the boards and is targeted by the SCC forecheck. Gutsch's style is on the rough side and opponets know it and SCC will be looking to rock him as they would any other player. No doubt, Gutsch will be hit hard because that's how you need to play against him, bad shoulder or not. What's Hurley going to do-escort him up the ice? Be an enforcer? Yea, right.

SCC is in town? I highly doubt that. Considering I had some dinner with a couple of guys last night at about 6pm and one of their coaches was at my place last night, I know you are wrong.

mj79 I meant for broadcasting purpose I didn't mean it was set in stone for a make-up-ironic though for you to make a quick comment considering you thought SCC was in town already! Patients is a virtue

i have no patients... I just want marshal to beat them quick and painless..

So if the AA game is already canceled theres almost no doubt this one is to

postponed til Saturday....

What time will the game be?
Posted: Thu Mar 01, 2007 9:58 am
by hshockfan
According to Duluth News Tribune, postponed until 5pm Saturday at Cloquet. On the bright side, it gives all of us a few more days for our pregame "analysis" and other banter! Also, gives those players nursing injuries a few more days to recover!

hshockfan, you're right on in terms of the bright side for this. I look forward to further bantering. It also allows a little more time to develop that gut feeling about the game.

Game delay

How important is the 2 day delay for the Toppers? Rumor had it the SCC coach was chomping at the bit to get this one played today. What is the status of the young kid Masolf.

I know a bunch of the marshall kids wish it would have been played, but it is what it is. One thing i thought of is will the kids have any ice time today or tomorrow cause duluth is basically shut down. A couple extra days rest will probably do both teams some good though.

coach johnson and his crusaders are all chomping at the bit and ready to play, they are hungry for the toppers. i know they were pumped to play tonight but i guarantee they will be just as ready saturday.
