ya' i think thats the guy moose .but i get confused, there's so many former nhl players that are walking around the streets of trf, that want to dedicate a lot of time, for a little money,to a below.500 program.but you're right they do look good.

If this man of which you speak of is in the community, what then prevents the faithfull lambs from doing the obviuos.

he lives ,he breathes, he walks among us , and NO ONE deserves the opportunity to coach more than he does, and he will, and if the faithful do not step up? it wont be here.why wont the lambs do the obvious?they're lambs.

There must be a reason why such a qualified person would not get an opportunity?could it be the stellar record of the current coa---person?haha no cant be it,what could it be,it must be the enthusiasm in which his young men play for him

what could it be?

The parents aren't in the locker room. The coaches don't have to teach discipline but they should uphold some sort of discipline. IE;topshelf stick incident, players with bad grades still playing. That is the job of the HS coach not just show up at the rink and throw some pucks out. Why have the top players left or quit mid year if it wasn't the coaches fault? That had nothing to do with thier youth coach from 3 years ago. It is time for a fresh start and some new . 10 years of it is long enough talent or not. The coaches are obivously just as frustrated as the players.
I agree with everything you said except for the last statement pucknutz, the coaches that were at Park did not get as frustrated as the players. Some of the kids inside the locker room told me that half the team said they wanted to lose in the last intermission of the final game .vs. Johnson. Apperently the coaches didn'y say anything. Now i don't if that was forshadowing the resignation, or if they just didn't really care. It could probably be both.

Are you really expecting another Cain/Abel story in TRF?

only if you consider,as pee wees, beating warroad & Roseau 3 consecutive times each, defeating grand rapids, duluth east, little falls,&hibbing to go to state with a 41 (w) and 5 (l) record and finishing 4th in state, good. and yet here is trf4-5 years later ,in single a, with a losing season record.

I am searching for a ray of light to replace this vast darkness that i feel when i walk into a trf arena,or is that a drowning sensation? My research indicates current pres and a.d. have great admiration hard to understand that when the line extends out the a.d. door. That is one heavy set of blinders that mans wearing.Oh yeah not to pile on but research also shows you left off Centinal and Edina

Still would really like to understand the underlying reason for this problem with such a simple solution cannot be righted.Could it possibly lie in a cannon copier?

commendable research professor. im impressed.actually they beat centennial twice, once on 12\2\01 and again on 3\15\02. you were incorrect however on the blinders metaphor....hes plain and simple blind (and deaf

)and yes,the solution could not be any more simple...the canon copier?......... moose jaw shoots...HE SCORES ! !

I hear the current A.D. is retiring,i wonder if a new one would be more inclined to clean this mess up or not?If so does does that lesson the chances of the candidate who should be there or does it buy more time for the current train wreck to continue?Wouldnt it be easier for someone to be man enough do to the right thing hear? Its really pretty simple isnt it?

moose the current a.d. has already submited his resignation as of 4\1\07,to become effective 6\1\07.applications will be accepted on 5\1\07 for his replacement.if the current soup, had a genuine concern for the school dist.the hockey program, and the community as a whole he has the authority to make this "simple" decision on his own.all this being said the "right" thing is often times the most difficult thing to do,and when weak people are in charge of difficult decisions...well,that is when train wrecks continue to go on.

year in and year out thru section 8 you will continuously hear,"how does warroad & Roseau do it." given the past 13 years of futility, how long would the "coach" that is in place in trf , last in either of those two communities? this is not the little engine that could ,it is the engine that cant....chooo-chooo !
