Peewee A

Eagan 5 Hastings 0

# 11 (Hastings) is Good Player on Defense, good slapshot, nice moves. Big Kid.

Eagan has good all around team. 2 big centers hard to keep away from net. They have as good as any chance to beat Woodbury. They have the size & skill to match woodbury lines. Rematch of Squirt A CHAMPIONSHIP

District 8 Teams

Rank 1-3

#1 Woodbury
#2 Eagan
#3 Lakeville South ( they tied Cotage Grove) so they might not be for real. Early successs could be whole team plays AAA together and now teams are catching up to them. I know they beat Duluth East 6-0.

# 4 COULD BE ANY OF THE REMAINING TEAMS. They all have 1-2 top players that could raise up and upset you if the rest of the team holds there own.

I agree they should be very tough.

Statesman, have you seen many of these Eagan games, I was very surprised to see they lost to Lakeville North, what was the story on that game, did you see it?

Eagan plays Edina in the EP tourney on Friday. That game will provide a measure of both teams and D8 versus D6. Lakeville North plays tonight at the BV tourney opener drawing a tough Apple Valley Team. So there will be another measure of D8 versus D6. Woodbury sits out the Turkey Day tourneys. They have blitzed Lakeville North and Cottege Grove (who tied Lakeville South) in the last two weeks. They way they are playing, to me they rank #1.

Eagan has not played Lakeville North. The game in Question was scheduled on a weekday at 2:45 pm when all the players from both teams were still in school

So, stickstats scored a game, and Eagan was credited for a loss in a game that never happened?

It was tied at 1 after regulation and by tournament rules they played a 10 minute sudden death overtime, still tied. Again per tourney rules they played a 5 minute sudden death overtime, still tied. Then it went to a 5 round shoot out, the first three EGF shooters scored and their goalie stopped the first three Kenora shooters.
