I believe it will be a game of match-ups. Wrong combo will cause a team to win/lose. TRF has a better coach in that department (at this point of their careers) and more depth to work with.
.
I don't know the TRF coach, but wouldn't disparage the PR coach as he was selected the 2006-2007 8A coach of the year by the 8A coaches, despite not getting his team beyond the semi-finals at sections!

Yes, I know.
What I am saying is the TRF coach will do a better job in matching lines. Not saying PR coach is not a good coach, I would say the opposite. But if I am putting the dime on one of them I would go with Tim Bergland over Pete Stahnke - at least at this point of their careers.

PR 5
TRF 4

PR scores 3 in the third to come from behind against a younger more inexperienced TRF team.

If PR is down by more than one going into the third, PR loses.
TRF is a team that gets stronger as the game progresses.
PR does not have the depth, meaning more ice time for lines 1 & 2, meaning the legs and body will lose that surge of energy quicker in the third.

No, basketball would not work
poster-isaac claimed the skaters could not bounce a ball, but the ball bouncers could definitely dangle....

If TRF can shut down Lehrke they will win. I don't understand why more teams don't do more to bottle him up. If he can get a couple points PR can win the game. How often is it that a team sitting at 18-0 may be the underdog? I am pulling for Lehrke and company. It would be really cool to see them pull off the unbeaten regular season.
