I couldn't agree more.
From the soccer field in the fall, to the ice rink in the winter, to the baseball diamond in the spring.
John "Jack" Dwyer aka THE PUNISHER is a Mack Truck on skates.

He absolutely crushed two Mayo Spartans in open ice tonight - I mean really clobbered them with great, clean hits. I think I had sympathy pain after watching them.
I would have to agree i seen the second kid he crushed on the bench spitting blood and throwing up i think he might have gotten a pretty bad concussion and he must have had a tooth knocked out or something it was painful watching him just demolish those 2 and he never even hesitated like it bothered him when he hit the kids

Sure.
Obviously, you are not acquainted with Mr. Earls.
Take in a HF game, if you can. You'll see a whole new level of "football player on the ice."

I've already played in two. He threw #18 into the bench remember?

Are you implying that he is just another hockey player who also plays football?
Sorry.....I couldn't agree with that. I don't see the Earls type of physicality in other football/hockey players. Do you? If so, in whom?

Uh....oh, that's right. You're the Delano goalie. (I was supposed to know that, right?)
Oh, and I was also supposed to know what "#18" you are speaking of? Is that Delano #18? Sorry, I guess I didn't attend that game, so no, I have no recollection of that, though I certainly don't dispute it, nor would I doubt it.
The thread was about big hitters. I am not sure what your stance is on Mr. Earls (you haven't made that exactly clear.)
Please elaborate a bit more, in your posts, so that everyone knows what your point is, please.

Haha I never said he wasn't a big hitter, I was implying that there are a lot of hockey players out there that also play football. I agree that Earls is a monster on the ice, he lays the "boom" on kids.

So, you have to play for a big school to be a big hitter?
Your logic is astounding.
Earls would knock all traces of green off of Leer.

Leer couldn't carry Earl's jockstrap.
Nor will he ever have to...because Earl's is nowhere near the same class of player.
And yes I've seen big bad Earl's play... he's big end of story...most guys are long gone before he arrives, unless it's in a corner and he happens to get there before the play is over, and then it's just hitting to hit not to take a guy off the puck.... c'mon.

Fair enough. The question on the thread, however, was:
"Who do you belive is the biggest hitter (clean hitter) around in high school hockey today?"
In this respect, only, (the only one to which I was referring) there is no comparison between Earls and Leer. Leer will knock you down. Earls will knock you into next week. If these two trains ever met, Leer wouldn't get up too quickly.

Not the biggest kid by far out there, but I'm gonna go with Rosemount's Cole Hawkins as well. Every time he's out there, he will get you if your not paying attention. Although being with Rosemount's team, I have to give kudos to Rosemount's #7 Mitch Markiewicz for his hit against Eastview @ Rosemount that sent the kid into the Rosemount Bench. Like i said, not the biggest kids out there, but they certainly hold their own.

If anyone was at the Eagan/ Apple Valley game today they saw #15 Tommy Velin from Valley rock some kids today! It looked like he was a free safety just drilling a wide reciever when the ball gets there in the air. He had some monster hits today and all season.
